Each day, our world becomes a little smaller. Technology probes deeper, looking within our bodies, tracking our every move, and becoming mandatory for people to conduct regular business. We learn each day the new questions we are not allowed to ask, the new rules we are required to follow, and with each crisis the facade of freedom is removed. While our past saw us controlled through indirect measures like propaganda and finance, the new world system seeks to integrate biology and technology, and to use the latter to remake the nature of man into something new, something that can be controlled. People have many names for the social credit score, the health passport system, the fusion center watchlists, but the oldest name remains the most accurate. If you have the courage, Behold the Beast System and glimpse into the future which becomes a little more real each day before you are no longer permitted to even utter these words.
Propaganda is a book written by Edward Bernays in 1928 that explores the psychology behind manipulating masses and the ability to use symbolic action and propaganda to influence politics, effect social change, and lobby for gender and racial equality.
From peasants to princes, no one was untouched by the spiritual and intellectual upheaval of the sixteenth century. Martin Luther’s challenge to church authority forced Christians to examine their beliefs in ways that shook the foundations of their religion. The subsequent divisions, fed by dynastic rivalries and military changes, fundamentally altered the relations between ruler and ruled. Geographical and scientific discoveries challenged the unity of Christendom as a belief community. Europe, with all its divisions, emerged instead as a geographical projection. Chronicling these dramatic changes, Thomas More, Shakespeare, Montaigne, and Cervantes created works that continue to resonate with us.
Spanning the years 1517 to 1648, Christendom Destroyed is Mark Greengrass’s magnum opus: a rich tapestry that fosters a deeper understanding of Europe’s identity today.
The teacher probes the Western problems of conformity and loss of personal values while offering a fresh approach to self-understanding and the meaning of personal freedom and mature love.
"To understand the total problem of communism it is necessary that we trace the course of the movement from its beginning down to the present. We must understand who its originators were, and what they were, and we must gain some idea as to the forces which influenced and shaped their philosophy. Unfortunately, any deep-down discussion of communism and Marxism involves the Jewish question. We cannot honestly discuss the subject without revealing and commenting on the fact that the founders of Russian communism were Jewish. Neither can we ignore the fact that all but a few of the top leadership of the American communist party, including the recently convicted spys are of the same race. These are facts of history over which we have no control. But we are faced with the very serious problem of how to reveal these facts without being labelled and treated as 'anti-Semites'. The main reason why so little is known concerning the true nature of communism stems from this problem. Historical writers have been understandably reluctant to hold forth on the subject for fear of marking themselves as 'race haters' and 'bigots'. For this reason the entire subject has been placed beyond the pale of discussion. One simply does not use the word 'Jew' and 'Communism' together. The result if, of course, censorship. In this work we have decided to breach the wall of silence at whatever the cost, and to treat the subject as fairly and as honestly as we know how. No attempt is made to single out individuals because they happened to be born to a certain race, neither have we exempted anyone from criticism for that reason. It was decided that since Communism and Judaism are so irretrievably bound one to the other, a history of the Jewish people would contribute substantially to an understanding of the present communist menace."
During that long, hot summer of 1964, Ivan Smith, a mercenary volunteer in the Armée Nationale Congolais, came to witness and understand fear, the law of the jungle and the lust for killing that permeates Africa. A member of 'Mad Mike' Hoare's 5 Commando Group he and his companions were nominally soldiers but there was little in the way of campaigns, tactics and discipline. Of conventional warfare there was none. Loyalty to country or unit did not exist and the fear of death was the only commander. Many more mercenaries died from an accidental discharge, in a drunken shoot-out or from a bullet in the back than were ever killed in action by Simba rebels. Nearly half a century later, Ivan Smith re-lives the nightmare that was the Congo.
