It’s pretty simple to install applications in Linux. Many are available in the builtin repositories. However, there are apps that you must download from a website or other server. To install these apps you have to type a command in the terminal. However, Google has provided a much easier way to install these downloaded apps. This is a quick video showing how.

Practicing guitar or any other musical instrument can be boring. Playing along to your favorite songs is a good way to make your practices more interesting. However, looking up and displaying the chords to your songs can be pretty annoying.
This is where Chordify comes in. Chordify, is a website that connects to Youtube, Soundcloud and Deezer. When you search for a song, it analyzes and detects the chords for the song that you chose.
Users can further improve the chords by editing what Chordify analyzes to provide more accurate results.
You can then play the songs and the chords will scroll in time with the music.
It also displays how to play the chords on the Guitar, Piano and Ukulele
Perfect for practicing!

There are several apps that let you use your phone as a webcam, but as far as I know, none use the NDI (Network Device Interface) protocol. This protocol is used in professional broadcast environments to provide high quality and low latency high definition video over a network.
The developers of the NDI protocol have an app that will let your phone feed this high quality video directly to PC desktop apps like Zoom Meetings and OBS.

I had previously created a video on setting up a coding environment in ChromeOS. That video showed you how to setup C# and Python. I decided to continue this, by showing how to setup Java, C and C++.
*NOTE*
THIS VIDEO IS OUTDATED. NEW VERSION HERE:

I had a portable monitor that I use to extend the desktop of my Chromebook when I travel. At home I would plug the Chromebook directly to my main HDMI monitor. It never occurred to me, until now, that I can use both the portable monitor and HDMI monitor at the same time, even though I only have one HDMI port. This is a quick video showing how I do exactly that.
