PinePhone: Installing Anbox on Arch Linux ARM, trying WhatsApp and Signal
This is quite a long video, sorry for that!
In fact, the process is pretty simple: Download the latest image at https://github.com/dreemurrs-embedded/Pine64-Arch/releases, flash it onto an microSDHC/XC card (or eMMC using Jump Drive) and then run sudo pacman -Syu anbox anbox-image adb and you are done.
Unfortuantely, parts of the process can be difficult and I would recommend setting up some sort of a swap – be it zramswap, a swap file or a swap partition. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Swap.

In this video I show how to install postmarketOS on a quite affordable phone, the Motorola Moto G4 Play XT1602 (Codename Harpia), a MSM8916/Snapdragon 410 phone from 2016.

In this video I demo upgrading in a way that's not the recommended way to upgrade to postmarketOS 22.06.
You can do it the way I did, but please follow the recommended way: SSH + tmux. At least plug your PinePhone into power and use tmux!
Please note: You won't magically get new apps that were not installed before - a fresh install of postmarketOS 22.06 with Phosh includes karlender. (It's just an

Yet another part of my #DailyDriverChallenge, this time showcasing a couple Qt Apps on postmarketOS stable with Phosh.
Similar to desktop Linux, installing Apps from the other world (e.g. a KDE App on GNOME or a GNOME App on KDE comes with a ton of dependencies and takes some space on your disk. On the nascent mobile platforms this "borrowing-over" of apps onto the other platform is even more necessary, as there aren't many apps full stop.
Missing dependencies can be figured out by starting the app from the terminal, enabling of qt5ct works by setting the the environment variable as follows QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct (e.g. in /etc/environment).
