So for this week's cover, I decided to finally get to a song that a friend of mine has been asking for. I honestly never really listened to 12 Stones at all, so this was a situation where I hit record, and on the 4th take felt I got it close enough to make a cover. Also, Chicha apparently wanted in on this so I had to use this take, he is my cat after all and ruler of the domicile. I wanted to be sure it got done rather than be perfect. So I hope you enjoy my vocal cover of We Are One by 12 Stones
My band Deadlights just released our ep titled "No Hope For The Lost" feel free to go give it a listen!
Last week I showed you how to get a DAW setup, we set up a new project in reaper and we figured out how to get everything ready to go. But what do you do now? How do you go about making ideas, writing riffs, and figuring out drums parts in Reaper? That is what I am going to show you in this video.
If you have not watched episode 12, I would advise checking it out first before diving into this episode. Unless you already know how to run your DAW, in which case go hard and enjoy

Once this situation is over, Live bands will be hitting the road again. Maybe your band is one of those bands that is thinking of hitting the road for a string of shows in the future. If that is the case, there are a lot of things that you need to keep in mind, and preparing for a tour covers a lot of ground. If you are able to properly prepare, your tour will go off smoothly, even if you encounter a hiccups along the way.

Cayle of Param-Nesia and I got together to work on this vocal cover. Ok, by got together I mean he hit up each other's DMS and sent each other files, but that is just as good!
Here is our vocal cover of Signal Fire by Killswitch Engage of the Unleashed Album with a guitar solo cover put in for good measure

Throughout my years as a musician and recording engineer, I have made many mistakes, and I have watched many new bands make the same mistakes. I want to help newer bands that are starting out make the best use of their time, and reduce stress while working together. The music industry has changed drastically, and the rules and methods of the 80s and 90s no longer work.

I am trying out a live stream of 8 random songs. In between songs I may take a break, smoke a bowl and chat with my buddy who is over. But I want to test something out. Let me know what you think and feel free to leave suggestions for future covers. IOf I start sucking, I apologize haha

The Foo Fighters were one of the first rock bands I got into when I started getting into Rock and Metal after ACDC and Nirvana. Dave Grohl has always been someone I look up to in music and I felt it was time to do a foo fighters cover. So here is my vocal cover of Learn To Fly by the Foo Fighters.

Balrogath came down from Calgary to help keep the energy going during day 2 of the Alternative Waves Music Festival 2019 in Medicine Hat. It is always a pleasure to see them live,
Balrogath sounds as if Opeth and Ensiferum had a baby and played D&D with Amon Amarth on weekends.
