Well this Bomberman sequel for the NES is leaps and bounds better than the first Bombewrman for NES, but still doesn't really hold a candle to the Turbo Grafx Bombermans.

A worthwhile addition to the Game Gear, but doesn't really play like the NES Ninja Gaiden. Very short and much easier than the original, so giving this a once-over is a breeze.

There was a fair bit of interest for the 2015 vs. 2022 video I made a few days ago and someone in the comments asked if there would be a SNES vs. Remaster video. Well it just made sense to do one so I'm happy to oblige.
It may be worth noting I synced the intros to the music and not the video so switching the audio between the two wouldn't be jarring. I was surprised at how little adjustment either needed to sync up and that the video was still generally in line with each other. Seems Square Enix paid pretty close attention to the original when planning and arranging the Pixel Remaster.

I hope you find something you like here at our channel, we have an ever growing catalog of old school console games, new console and pc games, and even Macintosh 90's shareware games.
For the old games, I let the games speak for themselves, only enhancing them visually to remains crisp on High Definition display at full 60 fps.
For new games we let WankTown give in game self deprecating angry commentary, it's oh so so funny!

So many people commented about liking the Japanese version of the soundtrack better, so I thought I'd play through it and hear for myself.
I get the good ending, I think I get all the Metal Sonic projectors, and hopefully I give a decent sample of all the great music in the game.

This is kind of a bizarre platform game for the TurboGrafx-16. You play as either J.J. or Jeff who are detectives. You get a call saying an important person has been kidnapped. The duo agree to solve the case, then go run and jump through different areas kicking animals and the environment along the way. You know, like detectives.
At the end of each stage you fight a very large and goofy looking boss that all have the exact same pattern to them as far as I could tell. At the end of the game you somehow have found the man you're looking for.
The difficulty ranked pretty high in my opinion. Your character slides everywhere and the inertia is cranked, it takes a long time to switch directions. Later in the game the enemy placement becomes impossible to dodge and the platform gymnastics you're suppose to perform are ridiculous.
I'd say play it for spectacle. It's a very strange game, if you're in to that sort of thing, go for it.
