http://MyMustangRestoration.com - We are using panel bond adhesive to install the right quarter panel onto the 66 Ford Mustang. Finally, it seams like it took forever to get to this stage. The only bad thing is that now we have the other quarter panel to cut off and install. Hopefully we do not run into as much rust on the left side.
To bond the quarter panel we are using 3M Panel Bond #8115. This works great for attaching welded on panels, such as quarters, roofs, door skins, etc. However, I still want to weld certain locations as well, which we'll cover in the next Mustang video.

In this video, we are applying epoxy to the area that has been repaired. Epoxy is the superior primer for adhesion and corrosion protection. This is why I like to apply one to two coats before applying primer surfacer (for filling.) If the repair did not require all coating to be removed, epoxy may not be needed. For example, using 180 to rough up an area to apply finish glaze putty. Like a small hail dent. Other procedures may include applying self etching primer to the metal to acheive the desired adhesion for other coating. After applying the epoxy, we'll apply two coats of primer surfacer.
What types of primers do you use on repair areas? Self etching, epoxy, or other methods?
Here is an article about epoxy primer http://ezinearticles.com/?Priming-the-Repair-Area---Why-Prime-and-What-Types-of-Primer-to-Use&id=4041690

http://CollisionBlast.com - - Please rate this video. All ratings and comments are appreciated. This is part two in answering a question asked of how to prepare a car that has good paint to add artwork. I am not aware of a way to paint the airbrush work without scuffing the panel and re-clearing the panel. This will assure proper adhesion to prevent peeling. Part one described how to clean and scuff the paint. Part two discusses how to mask, or free hand artwork.
1. Lay out the initial outline with 3M blue fine line masking tape.
2. Using 3M 3/4" and 1 1/2" masking tape, tape around the blue fine line tape.
3. Using masking paper, mask the rest of the area not being airbrushed.
Now you're ready to airbrush the flame. If you're free handing your artwork, you could skip this step.

If you are a DIY wanting to repair a dent or ding on your car, then you may consider this kit.

Jet boat project - This is the first jet boat project video. In this video I am just videoing the boat before I begin repairs. This is a good idea to have a reference if needed at a later time. I don't work on jet boats everyday, so we'll learn together on this project. If you have any comments, resources or suggestions, then please leave me a comment below.
