What Percentage Of The World's Mangroves Have Been Destroyed By Shrimp Farming?
In Southeast Asia, shrimp farming is the cause of 30 percent of mangrove deforestation and coastal land use change. That deforestation threatens the ecological sustainability of the shrimp industry and its financial viability.
I am the world's first merman recognized by PADI. My life is a story of adventures rescuing animals from the ocean to the mangroves. I am not a mermaid miracle but I have the power to make dreams come true for all creatures. I bought 10kg of mullet fish for the otters as usual. I tried to dig the pond deeper and clean out the plastic waste. The otters help me in their own way. But otter Gaia couldn't do anything cause his kneecap was dislocated.

► Donation http://patreon.com/mermantiun

Don't be fooled by their unassuming appearance: mangroves play critical roles in some of the world's most pressing issues. They serve as a barrier between land and sea, absorb carbon, contribute to economic and food security, and are home to some of the rarest and most colorful species on the planet. However, mangroves are disappearing at an alarming rate. More than 80% of mangroves have already been lost in some areas of the Western Indian Ocean region, which is one of the two most important global mangrove hotspots, along with Southeast Asia. Asian small-clawed otters aid in the opening of holes in the ground at mangroves, allowing mangrove seedlings to grow easily. Keeping them as pets will also devastate the mangrove ecosystem. Merman Tiun is helped by Otter Titi, who picks up mangrove sprouts for him to plant. Otter Titi understands the importance of planting mangroves, so why don't you? Please help me with my mangrove plantation so that billions of marine creatures are not lost every day.

Otters play an important role in mangrove ecosystems. They are predators, which means they help control the populations of the animal species on which they prey. This has an impact on the ecosystem as a whole, and their presence indicates that the ecosystem is healthy. However, this location is not within 10 kilometers, and Titi is the last otter. I'm attempting to save the small-clawed otters in this area. However, electric fishing boats are starving otters and causing the extinction of marine life. As a result, I'm working to save forest lands and plant mangrove trees to limit the damage caused by poachers and fishermen.
