Ethereal Enigma (Early Access) - Part 4 Class Representative Election
A few new episodes of this were released in my absence, and in my goal to return to covering VNs, we will be touching off here to see if this one has improved any since I last covered it.
The class needs to decide who to elect as their representative, and two candidates come out as frontrunners, one being Erilynn herself. While that is brewing, the rest of the characters are looking at class clubs, and since this is still early access, there is nothing to be found here (which is why this video is longer than normal...). However, you will need to wait to see the vote, which is coming in the next video. Stay tuned. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TFDgl4cyDQ
Moving forward in our loop, this time we manage to find Saki and do a bit of exploring with her to try to refresh Haruto's memories. However, the outcome to this goes in a different direction than Haruto expected...

This mission feels worlds different from the GBA version. With Hawke not being trigger happy on his power, it is possible to make a lot more inroads on fronts other than Andy's (Hyper Upgrade OP). This allows Sonja to make a lot of progress on her front as she has the least going on and thus suffers the most from Hawke's powers.
Overall, this is one of the missions that usually suffers when multiple COs are involved as I prefer to send the Yellow Comet out with a rocket to blast the seam and they only have a small island's worth of enemies to deal with. Here, we somehow get through the blockade of units in the bottleneck and manage to actually have Eagle deliver the coup de grace. As a result, I am able to get a perfect power score, and it turns out we were time efficient which just boggles the mind.

Before we can face our final enemy, we must face ourselves. Venturing into the graveyard and battling through the undead hordes, we come across the enemy within. I was kind of hoping he would match your stats like Dark Link, but instead he just gets brutally murdered. Oh well.

I couldn't remember when that moment finally arrived, but here we are with the final escort of the game. We have to take Ashley through a very hostile area, but I have enough shotgun shells for everyone, so it isn't that bad of a problem. Then when we get to the very end, the final boss makes an appearance and our escorting is done.

In order to reclaim the stolen sword we heard about so long ago, we must enter the Decaying Temple, but the door will only open if someone comes alone. Temenos and Agnea are the best picks for this, with Temenos having a bit of an edge due to his latent. Make sure you find the hidden spear here.
As for Karma, the boss must be broken periodically otherwise it will use an instant kill move that bypasses instant kill protection (or there could be a translation error as there are quite a few of those). His weaknesses will change, so you will need someone a little versatile to constantly break him. Eventually, he will not have weaknesses anymore, so you will need either the Temenos Latent or the Dancer break move unless you want to use an item.
As you can tell, I am disappointed that the exact reason I gave Temenos the shield he is using failed its one job.

With Michel's chapter concluded, we now move into the Maid's story, and as such, we finally get to see her machinations put into motion. The Maid learns the price that she has to pay in order to try to find Michel again, which leads to her meeting the Rhodes family, and witnessing everything that transpired at Rose Manor. However, we are finally able to start seeing the White Haired Girl for what she is...

We have reached the third area of the game, Chiyoda, which is the final battle between the angels and demons. There is a cinematic to greet us upon entering, and then we get to see a very urban area in utter ruin. The platforming is even worse than previous places, but luckily there are quite a few leylines that will allow us to warp around and re-try any missed jumps. However, it will take us a little while to get into the meat of the story here.

For the fourth round, will it be different or just another massacre for the holiday?
The main theme of the game here is praying at the altar of the RNG. Crimson is hitting me with status effects hoping one of those will be enough to bring down the team. Even when things finally do go his way, he has still wasted a lot of resources and the end result isn't necessarily worth the price paid. Everything comes to a hilarious finish though when he fails to remember what Garchomp's ability is...

PACT is pressuring Versta, and it does not sit well with our resident royal. As per her request, we show up there, shoot the place up to rid it of PACT, then take off before we can be interpreted as another invading army. Simple, right?
Asaga gives us the Lancers to use here, but sadly, I find them underwhelming. Their lasers pack a punch, but they are not that good at long range. At short range, the ships themselves have mobility problems, are lightly armored, and just not really that good. We will get the ability to summon them in time, but this fight is probably the best showing I have seen for them to date, which is kind of sad...
