Before the Storm is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in which the Dragonborn is directed to the town of Riverwood and to then Whiterun to warn the Jarl of Whiterun about the dragon attack on Helgen. This quest serves to acquaint the Dragonborn with the open world of Skyrim and further equip them for the challenges ahead.
fallout 3 gameplay part 5, molerat repellent stick.
Moira wants the Lone Wanderer to test out her new mole rat repellent, which she has placed on the end of a stick, on some mole rats. Three is enough to finish the quest, while ten is preferred for a more thorough test of the repellent. Contrary to the name, the mole rat repellent does not repel mole rats. Instead, it causes their heads to explode. One hit causes a delay of a few seconds, while two hits kills them instantly. Moira is not happy when she finds out.
Moira will direct the player character to the Tepid Sewers, located near the Anchorage Memorial, which will have enough mole rats for both objectives (though finding enough for the optional objective in this location alone will involve getting around raiders, a turret, some explosive gases, and maybe a few frag mines), but any mole rats, which are plentiful throughout the wastes, count toward completion of the quest.

fallout 4 gameplay 10- taking independence.
The hike to the Castle will take one through South Boston and past a number of both raiders and super mutants in equal measure. Garvey is waiting for the player in a destroyed Sullivan's diner west of the Castle with three other Minutemen.
Talk to Garvey, and he'll discuss the player's options. The three Minutemen will offer various potential plans of attack: a direct assault into the courtyard via the breached northwest wall, a pincer through the breach and the main gate to the south, or setting up a firing line outside the northwest breach and drawing the mirelurks out to their guns. When all's in order, the player can launch the attack.
There are about ten mirelurks of varying strength inside the Castle. Once they're all dead, Garvey and the Minutemen will observe the egg nests laying around; if they're not cleared out the mirelurks will keep coming back. Approaching the egg nests will cause several of them to hatch mirelurk hatchlings.
Upon destroying several of the egg nests, the entire fort will shake, and a mirelurk queen will emerge from the lagoon - the "sea monster" that destroyed the Castle in the past. She'll make her way through the southwest breach and into the Castle courtyard, at which point she'll start killing anything she can reach.
Once the queen is dead, the player will have to clear out the remaining egg nests. After they're all gone Preston will tell the player about Radio Freedom, and task the player with getting it up and running. This requires ten power to function. Once Radio Freedom is powered, the player can talk to Preston again to complete the quest.

It can be purchased from Proventus Avenicci after the Jarl of Whiterun, Balgruuf the Greater, allows the purchasing of property, or from Brill if the Dragonborn has completed the "Battle for Whiterun" for the Stormcloaks. It can be bought immediately after retrieving the Dragonstone for the quest "Bleak Falls Barrow." Proventus Avenicci or Brill do not sell upgrades when they are on the porch of Dragonsreach, only in the dining room.
Siding with the Stormcloaks during the Civil War requires the Dragonborn to perform certain tasks, as well as purchase Breezehome, in order to reinstate themselves as Thane of Whiterun.

fallout 3 gameplay part 6,place observer in spawing pool at the ancherage war momorial.
Moira wants the player character to gather data on mirelurk behavior by placing an observer inside the mirelurk nest at the Anchorage Memorial, specifically inside an egg clutch. So as not to upset her data gathering, she would prefer for the Lone Wanderer to do this without killing any of them. This optional objective only applies to mirelurks killed during the quest, and only those inside the memorial itself. The game will not fault the player character for killing any mirelurks anywhere else, nor will it matter if any are killed inside the memorial before starting the mission. Any mirelurks killed by followers will not be counted against the Lone Wanderer.
