This 17 minute video goes over the rescue of the dying vegetable plants in the raised garden beds. it's literally awesome to witness dying or death to life! Sound familiar??
Also I reveal our mini muscadine Orchard I just built. Along with our update on the Apple trees. A lot going on here and the potential for growing it bigger next year gets more exciting. Thanks for watching and God Bless. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vf_vKCkXyA
This past week, my best bud (Archam). who is one of our pups here on the Fruits & Berries A small Tennessean Homestead and I took a local first time Hike to Margarette Falls. It's only a 15 min drive to the start of the hiking location.
Once we arrived, I knew the weather was not going to be good but the excitement to see the Falls was overwhelming and Archam was excited to get out for the adventure. So we began our trek to the Falls.
The video quality is so so as I could not film without a lot of shakiness occurring in the camera while walking and video taping. Fortunately, my computer software took out the worst of the shakiness. I recently purchased a Gimbal stabilizer which will allow me to film professional quality vids. Thus, i might want to redo this hike with the Gimbal and make it all the way to the Falls next time. Though this footage and life events really made my experience memorable. Hope you will enjoy it.
Please subscribe to the channel as I am desirous to truly share top quality videos while video taping our life here on the Homestead and life's experiences in and around our beautiful state of Tennessee.

Blessings...

This is a fun and enjoyable 20 min vid to watch. Feb 2nd I took the pups out to the ball park on a heavy snowy day here in North Eastern Tennessee. We live very close to the Appalachians and do get snow at times. The great news is, usually after the snow front is over, the snow will melt in a couple of days. This storm that just occurred, it took almost a week for it to all melt away. In this brief video, I share a little about some of the fruit trees on the property and one nut tree. I had a lesson to learn last summer regarding killing Japanese beetles. They can be very distructive on fruit trees and other vegetation on the property. This early spring I will do some quick preventative measures to make sure we keep healthy and alive Fruits and Berries. No pun intended. Lol.. The pups just add fun to anything we do out here. Hope you enjoy the video and please subscribe if you have not already. Blessings, Wayne and Aida

Thought y'all might like a bit of pre-winter... Bits and pieces of Feb 2020. Not professional vid, but fun.
Just found this minute plus vid from last winter and gourmet coffee. Awesome time for a small cup of speciality coffee and pastry from Aida's work place on a very cold day.
Artic cold front to hit us in 2 days. Should get into the 30s by this Thursday and Friday. Possible frost freeze warning in a Tennessean mid October Fall season.

Taking into account my age and trying to do heavy pounding to take out cinder blocks around the footer, well, Im still here? and finally got the blocks off of the wooden footer frame. This was job that I am glad it is almost over with. The custom made 10x12 shed is schedulted for delivery this Wednesday morning and tonight and all day tomorrow over 90% rain is expected.
Oh, of course we have dirt all around the footer and our home due to the recent grading. Thus, mud mud and more mud also is expected. We have had so many ups and downs since we moved here 2 months ago, I guess now I can get back to filming as I have a ton of filming I can do as we work thru getting thru winter and preparing for Spring 2024. Thank you for watching as I grow and learn life here on the mountain. Blessings, Wayne

Champ the Aussie dog and Arkam the German Shepard dog, who have been at eachothers throats for the last year, kissing eachother? Is this for real?
We finally have found a loving family in Texas that has approx 2 acres and will give Arkam so much love. Aida and I will be leaving our home here In Tusculum Tennessee shortly to drive back to Texas shortly to get Arkam to his awesome, loving new home. I will be so sad to see him being relocated, but thrilled that he will have the space and freedom to run and be a dog with his soon to be adapted family. Video taken by my feet, lol... here tonight in our living room.

I planted over 30 trees within the last 2 weekends. 20 of them are fruit trees. The others are Red Maple and different Oak type trees to surround our home here in New Fairview Texas. Hope you enjoy.

We did our best this early morning to straighten out on both feet it's curled toes. I cut 2 tiny squares of cardboard. Aida held Hopper in her hand to provide warmth and security. Remember, Hopper is only 2 days old. I took each deformed 4 toes on each foot, I straighten both feet toes out and took sticky taped and placed the tape over each toes. It was a huge project but we believe it was successful! Yeah. So Hopper kinda hops!!! With the bandaged feet! Totally gets around to drink and eat. Here is a brief video on Hopper...
