I ordered a Google Nexus 7 so that I can really get into making more of the Android App tutorials. And Why not .... It is supposed to be a really good well made device. and with it being lighter and still a good size I will probably pick it up in preference to the full size iPad I have already.
I recorded the audio for this video on to the iPhone 4 using Twisted Wave, a great audio app on iOS. I got it into the Final Cut app on my Mac and used the feature to synchronise the audio recorded externally with the audio on the camera. It worked a treat.

The command line area is better for working with the text. You can select whatever you want and change things easily. You don’t have to do things just by text you can also select things with the mouse cursor. There are keyboard shortcuts if I want to select something like a word or to the end of the line.
Each of the commands you use are considered to be a block. Can you can do more things with these blocks such as either copying the command or copying the output. This is an interesting piece of functionality which could be useful. For example it would be a quick and easy way to get a list of files within a folder.
Easy to split the screen into separate panes which is good if you want a pane open controlling another computer through SSH and still do other tasks in the computer you are sitting in front of.

Delete previous videos we were looking about how to get the photographs into Aperture and how to put keywords on them and in this video we are looking at what we can do with the photos once we have them in the application. There are a number of keyboard shortcuts as allow you to view your photos in different ways. If you use the V on the keyboard you can cycle through the three main views in Aperture. You can see all of the photos in the new window, the other view is when you can see a selective photo in the viewer and see the browser in a separate part and then it is possible also to turn off the browser and just have one single photograph on view in the viewer.
With using a couple of keyboard shortcuts you can set with you can see the keywords and other basic metadata information. This can be useful when you don't want to have the Inspector viewable in the left sidebar. In Aperture there are a few different ways of doing things, at the bottom of the viewer window there is a button which allows you to choose some of the options, there are the keyboard shortcuts and finally you also have access to the same settings in the menus.
One of the things that you might like to do is to compare one photo with others in the set of photos that you are working within the project. This is useful when you have a number of photos that are quite similar and you want to make sure that you pick the best of the bunch. There is a setting which will allow you to have two photos in the viewer window, one of them is set as the comparison photo and you scroll through or choose the others as alternatives. It is well worth learning the keyboard shortcuts to set this up and also to help you choose whether you are going to go with the comparison photo or the alternative options.
