This is the completed Enseladang Labong dish. Myra's bamboo salad is as good tasting as it looks. It is very different not to have coconut milk with the bamboo sprouts. The meal turned out to be a quit healthy meal. I asked Myra to make make this for my birthday to offer to the neighbors. I think it is very neat Myra experimented with food. I have asked her several times about different food combinations, but she was always afraid of wasting money to try them. I have said before she is very 'penny' conscious. Maybe now she will be a bit more adventurous in the kitchen. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMP0tttZIkk
Three Cute AI Women | Auto Created by FlaskAppArchitect #art #aiart in this video I am playing with zoom and panning of a single image. Once again using #FlaskAppArchitect #pythonprogramming #pythonprojects #pythonflask
I have always loved programming and retired from a career in computer automation. Once again I have gotten very involved in computers. I am an avid Python and JavaScript enthusiast. My retirement in the Philippines began in Sept 6, 2012. I filled a backpack with drawing/art material and a laptop to write and headed overseas to live a dream . I am still in the Philippines. The trends of AI created imagery has opened door to new forms of video creation and computer imagery. I have united my love for video production and Python Flask to create FlaskAppArchitect a video Creator using AI images.
I also make videos of my life in the Philippines. My life overseas has been the adventure of my lifetime. This Vlog of life here is for my memories and show my friends and family back in the USA the Filipino lifestyle and show the world the joy of overseas retirement.

A short hello to guys at the trike stand. They saw me with my camera and waved me over for picture, pictures. The Tagalog way of saying I love you. Is 'Mahal Kita' (Love you) to say I love you very much is Mahal na mahal kita. (Love and love you). The same with miss you. You say 'miss and miss you' in Tagalog by repeating it means, I miss you very much. So when they said, Come over for picture, pictures. That means some pictures. I hear a lot, Hey, Jack, picture picture time.
The trikes are the main link of transportation for the providence areas. You catch your local trike to the nearest town or in many cases to the nearest jeepney. Quite often we follow a trike to jeepney to bus chain of transportation to the larger cities, Manila, Makati city, Quiapo etc. If you are a big Dude you better not have claustrophobia, they are small.

My retirement in the Philippines began in Sept 6, 2012. I arrived here with a backpack, my computer, and drawing/art material to write, play and make videos. This Vlog of life here is for my memories and show my friends and family back in the USA what it is like living in the Philippines. To date, I have made over 350 videos.
My trip to the Philippines was a gamble. I met Myra online and thought she seemed like a very interesting and 'Good' person I had never been to Asia and to be honest never even considered visiting any Asian countries. I decided to come over and visit this astoundingly interesting woman. It was the best decision I could have made.
I had been overseas, However only in Europe. I have been to Germany, Spain, France, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and Switzerland. What I enjoyed most of all in Europe was a chance to experience another lifestyle and culture. I have found the Filipino lifestyle and Filipino culture much to my liking. I have found a home here.

This video was actually made to be shown after the next video set. I have, however, decided to release it as a teaser. I am working on some permissions and correct spellings prior to releasing my next set. I can guarantee you one thing, it will be interesting and some of Cris Bamboo s best work yet. The setting was memorable as was the tour I was taken on. Location Graceville, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, Philippines

These little Philippine brooms are everywhere. Usually a house has three or four of the Philippine Brooms. We have one in front one in back and one in the house. They are made from the harder core of the coconut or palm leaflets that connect the leaflets to the rachis.
For more info and details on coconut and palm trees. Here is a very nice link about the coconut plant, the care and the planting of coconut crops.

This is a very nice article about making the brooms. It has several pictures. Below the link is a short excerpt from the article.

Carol makes a walis "ting ting" -- the Philippine broom of coconut fiber. The traditional Philippine broom is made from fibers stripped from the Buri or Coconut Palm .......... Today such a broom costs ten Philippine pesos in the market. That's about twenty-five U.S. cents

The house that was shown in my earlier video is rented. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7Sme-Q4R_E ) The owner wanted to be sure the house looked nice and is painting it inside. The renter from the USA has asked Myra to put couch and chairs, a bed, stove and stand. Plus the basic necessities, pot pans, silverware, cleaning supplies and towels etc so it is a nice livable dwelling. Rhona, the young lady in the video will probably be living there. Myra supplied the house because she has been living here and knows where everything can be purchased the Rhona is familiar with this area yet. She has been going with Myra the learn the stores markets and transportation in this area.

This is nearing completion of Myra Reyes Nipa Hut carinderia that Cris Bamboo is making. Carinderia is a strange word to me. Over here it has a couple of spellings the other is Karinderia. It is like a small restaurant to serve food.
Thew purpose for this nipa hut is top serve as (carinderia) facade This facade is for Myra's cooking videos. That is the reason for no sides. we wi8ll have better lighting. After meeting the bamboo blind maker( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjaPOo7izZ4 ) we may purchase roll-up blinds. It would allow for a little protection when it rains. With luck everything will be ready and Myra will be posting her first "Myra's Carinderia" video on Tuesday. She is all excited and ready to go.
