Whip Up a Spiced Pumpkin Latte Candle with Natures Garden
Let's whip up a pumpkin latte inspired candle with Melissa, from Natures Garden. This candle making tutorial uses the brand new Spiced Pumpkin Latte Fragrance Oil from NG.

Step 1: Prepare the cinnamon stick embeds. You will need a pan lined with wax paper. Weigh out and melt 20 grams of white beeswax in a double boiler. Once melted, add 2 drops of the cinnamon liquid candle dye. Stir. Pour the wax onto the pan in a very thin layer. Once it has setup, cut a rectangular shape about 4 inches in length and two inches in height. Roll the rectangle to resemble a small piece of a cinnamon stick. Set this aside. We will come back to it.

Step 2: Create the first round of wax that we will later shred. We will pour a small amount of wax into the mini muffin mold. Weigh out and melt 20 grams of the Pillar of Bliss using a double boiler. Once melted, add one drop of the spiced pumpkin liquid candle dye. Pour it into one cavity of the mini muffin mold. Allow it to set up before removing it from the mold. Set it aside for now.

Step 3: Next, create the second color of wax that we will later shred. We will pour a small amount of wax into the mini muffin mold. Weigh out and melt 20 grams of the Pillar of Bliss using a double boiler. Once melted, add one drop of the cinnamon liquid candle dye. Pour it into another cavity of the mini muffin mold. Allow it to set up before removing it from the mold. Set it aside for now.

Step 4: At this time, you will need to weigh out and melt 200 grams of the Joy Wax. Then, add 3 drops of the ivory liquid candle dye and use a toothpick to add just a small amount of the brown liquid dye. Stir. Finally, add 20 grams of the Spiced Pumpkin Latte Fragrance Oil and stir. Place a wick in your coffee mug. Pour about 180 grams of the wax into your mug. Set the remainder aside. We will use it in a later step. Allow the wax to fully set up before moving on.

Step 5: Prepare the whipped wax. Weigh out and melt 300 grams of the Joy Wax. Once melted, add 30 grams of the Spiced Pumpkin Latte Fragrance Oil. Stir. Allow the wax to drop in temperature. When it is at a slush type consistency, begin whipping it with your hand mixer. Continue to whip the wax to a whipped frosting consistency. Place the wax in a decorating bag.

Step 6: Remelt the remaining wax you set aside earlier and pour it into the coffee mug.

Step 7: Pipe the whipped Joy Wax on top of your candle. Then, you will need the wax you prepared earlier to shred. Use a cheese grater to shred a small amount of each color on top of the candle. Place the cinnamon stick slightly into the whipped wax.

Once cured, your candle is ready to use! Enjoy!
