More F-35 testing - Higher pitch fan and lighter battery
I changed to an impeller with higher pitch for 10% more power and also moved the fan forward 70 mm to be able to balance with a lighter battery in the nose. It felt about the same as before so I guess the next step is to dig out the exhaust and make an 80 mm fan instead of the current 70 mm. Alternatively I can install a 3500 kv motor instead of the 2600 in there now but I'd have to change the ESC as well for that as it would mean much more current.

I used a GPS to record the first flight. The top speed was 239 km/h. I did a lot more yanking ang banking now as I'm getting more confident with the plane.
The first flight used 3000 mAh and the second flight 3300 mAh. 5000 mAh total battery capacity.
