UPDATE Utah Nurse Arrested For Protecting Patient SETTLES LAWSUIT
SALT LAKE CITY -- A Utah nurse who was arrested for refusing to let a police officer draw blood from an unconscious patient settled Tuesday with Salt Lake City and the university that runs the hospital for $500,000.
Nurse Alex Wubbels and her lawyer, Karra Porter, announced the move nearly two months after they released police body-camera video showing Detective Jeff Payne handcuffing Wubbels. The footage drew widespread attention online amid the national debate about police use of force.
The settlement covers all possible defendants in a lawsuit, including individual police officers, university police and hospital security guards. The payout will be divided among the city and the University of Utah.

Los Angeles police shot a young girl who was inside a dressing room Thursday at a North Hollywood Burlington store as they fired at an assault suspect, authorities said.
LAPD believes the girl was ki**ed by an officer's bullet that passed through the wall of a dressing room, where she was found. Police say it's unclear if the suspect who was also shot by police was armed, but no gun has been found.

What happened: Yvonne Wu, 31, who works at the 72nd Precinct in Sunset Park, allegedly broke into the Bensonhurst home of her ex-girlfriend, Jenny Li, before shooting her and her new lover, Jamie Liang. Wu and Li reportedly dated for two years until they broke up three weeks ago.
Li, 23, reportedly arrived home with Liang, 24, around 5 p.m. Wu, who was off-duty at the time, allegedly broke into the residence at 19th Avenue and 79th Street through an unlocked back door.
Armed with an NYPD-issued Glock 19, Wu allegedly fired multiple shots that later killed Liang. Li narrowly escaped death after taking a bullet that struck her arteries and one of her lungs.
Amid the chaos, Li reportedly managed to call 911. The responding officer said they heard someone in the background declare, “That’s what you get.”
A calm and collected Wu was arrested on the scene. “I shot them both,” she told police, according to a source who spoke with the New York Daily News. “The gun’s inside. You can take me in.”

I had a nice conversation with Captain John Coppock about that days events, I realize that police and sheriffs have a dangerous job, and I stated in future videos, even if I get agitated by officers actions, I will not try to egg them on, or test their self control. If they treat me with the respect they should have for all the public, I will return that respect. And yes they know who I am, not sure if I find that flatering, or terifying lmao.
