Хижа, шкідлива, велика, але все-таки дуже гарна ця комаха — шершень. Які яскраві кольори, а, особливо на гарних квітах. Відомо про щонайменше 23 види цих різновидів комах. Зазвичай розмір 2-3 см. Розмір екземляра на відео складає близько 4 см: здійснювати виміри було страшнувато. Тим паче, що кусає, а, точніше жалить ця комаха кілька разів. В такому випадку можливий навіть летальний випадок. До уваги: шершні та інші подібні комахи дуже полюбляють фрукти і нерідко занурюються в них повністю. Тому їсти яблука, груші та інші фрукти в місцях скупчення ос треба дуже обережно.


На відео добре видно, наскільки малі за розмірами інші комахи. Хоча насправді, вони не такі й малі.


Розповсюджені шершні в Азії, та є вони і в Євпропі. В Україні їх теж досить багато. Кажуть, що в Україні також є гігантські азійські шершні розміром близько 5 см і навіть більше. Ще їх називають шерні-вбивці. Але, ймовірно, на відео не їх представник, а наш український гігант. Як мені здалося, у азійських шершнів не таке яскраве забарвлення.


Відео відзняте в 2020 році в Світловодському районі, неподалік Кременчуцького водосховища. В процесі зйомки і після ніхто не постраждав.


Giant hornet


This predatory, harmful, large, but still very beautiful insect is a hornet. What bright colors, and, especially on beautiful flowers. At least 23 species of these varieties of insects are known. In this case, even a fatal case is possible. Please note: hornets and other similar insects are very fond of fruits and often completely immerse themselves in them. Therefore, it is necessary to eat apples, pears and other fruits in places where wasps are concentrated very carefully.


The video clearly shows how small other insects are. Although in reality, they are not so small.


Hornets are widespread in Asia, but they are also in Europe. There are also quite a few of them in Ukraine. They say that there are also giant Asian hornets in Ukraine, about 5 cm in size and even more. They are also called gray killers. But probably in the video is not their representative, but our Ukrainian giant. As it seemed to me, Asian hornets do not have such bright colors.


The video was shot in 2020 in the Svitlovodsky district, near the Kremenchug Reservoir. No one was injured during or after the shooting.
