Throughout Europe and the European diaspora, May Day has been a traditional celebration for centuries. It was appropriated by the political left in the 19th century, but in England May Day traditions have no connection to Marxism. In Oxford, for example, at 6 am today as every year since 1509, the Choir of Magdalen College greeted the new season from the top of the college tower. 'Sumer is icumen in' was written in the mid-12th century, in the Wessex dialect of Middle English.
In this extract from a 1963 speech, Sir Oswald Mosley gives a prescient analysis of the disastrous policy of mass non-white immigration, recognising the inevitable failure of the multiracial experiment on which Britain was then embarking.
Mosley's answer to the postwar crisis was 'Europe a Nation': a bold alternative to the Cold War duopoly of Washington and Moscow, finance capitalism and communism.

This was one of television's best known interview shows in the 1970s. It's easy to perceive why the usual suspects changed their strategy later, and instead of trying to debate with Irving, sought to silence him. Among those trying and failing to traduce Irving on this programme is Gerald Fleming, one of the Kremlin's favourite historians, on whom they could rely to spout KGB propaganda uncritically.
The late Richard Edmonds explains the background to proposals for a vast 'Holocaust Mmeorial and Learning Centre', which the government insists must be built in Victoria Tower Gardens, a park next to the Houses of Parliament. After this film was made, the plans were rejected by Westminster City Council and thrown out by the courts. But on 25th January 2023 Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced that a new law would overturn that court judgment and force through the plans for this giant 'Memorial', against the wishes of local people and against the decision of the local council. Archbishop Justin Welby spent most of his life believing that his legal father – Jewish criminal Gavin Welby (originally Bernard Gavin Weiler) – was also his natural father. But eventually he discovered that his natural father was one of Winston Churchill's secretaries, Anthony Montague Browne.
It's now 25 years since the first edition of H&D was published.
At that time in the summer of 1999, our editor was living in Virginia and working in Washington DC.
The internet was in its infancy, 'social media' hadn't been invented, and a Labour government under Tony Blair was just two years into its mission of opening the immigration floodgates.
25 years and more than 120 issues of H&D later, our increasingly Disunited Kingdom has left the European Union – but immigration and related crime is more out of control than ever.
H&D remains committed to publishing high quality analysis of racial nationalist themes, covering a wide range of political, cultural, and historical topics from a perspective independent of party or faction.
Issue 122 will be printed in a few weeks time: so to be sure of your copy, subscribe today at www.heritageanddestiny.com
Alongside our bi-monthly magazine, we now have an expanding social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and now TikTok.
In addition to our official social media accounts, our assistant editor has his own Twitter account, and our European correspondent Isabel Peralta has her own Twitter and now TikTok account.
Social media accounts come and go, but our print edition has now been around for a quarter-century. We look forward to your articles and letters as we continue the struggle for racial renaissance!
This video launching H&D's new TikTok account was banned within 24 hours, apparently because TikTok objects to the Mosley movement's flag! Regardless of censorship we shall carry on with whatever TikTok allows us to publish. Despite their limitations, we hope that social media accounts will advance our cause to new generations of readers. And even if banned elsewhere, our videos will continue to be archived here at Odysee! If you don't yet have a TikTok account, now's the time to check out our new H&D account at https://www.tiktok.com/@heritagedestiny – and our correspondent Isabel Peralta's account is at https://www.tiktok.com/@issabelperalta88
We also have H&D accounts at Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).
But – as we have been doing for 121 issues (so far) since 1999, our main focus will continue to be on producing a hard copy magazine that reflects a wide range of racial nationalist thought, covering cultural and historical topics as well as quotidian politics.

H&D's European correspondent Isabel Peralta discusses nationality laws that seem designed to make Spaniards a minority in their own country. These laws make nationality no longer based on blood. They are rooted in the 'Universal Declaration of Human Rights' – another baleful consequence of Europe's defeat in 1945. This video is in Spanish with English subtitles.
