Weiss is certainly one tricky boss battle! The main reason WHY he's tough is because of his rather intimidating damage output. He hits VERY hard with just his physical attacks, but Life Force will certainly help out with that. Definitely keep yourself healed up as he will kill you quickly if you're low on HP. His magic spells aren't too much of a problem thankfully, but he DOES buff himself. You don't want that at all! So be sure to have a Dispel Magic at the ready for when he uses Capricious Wing and other buffs.
A good strategy to have is to pelt him with Wind spells of your own, preferably with your strongest magic users and focus on healing when you're under 1/2 of your HP. Definitely keep a Trinity Act under your belt for when you need to finish him off. The attacks you WILL need to watch out for are Dark Flames and Dragon's Charge. Dragon's Charge does a LOT of damage and will set you up to be picked off by a stray attack if you're not already dead. Dark Flames is a true terror as it can leave a serious mark on you and can cause SICKNESS on you. Sickness is VERY bad, as it will prevent you from healing until it is removed or when you're dead. Last but not least, he will use Dispel Magic on you and Anti-Magic Field (which will nullify spells cast on him).
As long as you don't take too many risks and mix a good offense with a great defense, Weiss WILL fall eventually!

Oh boy, Titus again. You know what this means, right? Another pretty questionable game most likely. To be fair, this game certainly has a fair bit of charm and it's not bad starting out of the gate. However, if one begins to tread deeper and deeper, you start to realize that this might not be a game entirely intended for children. I'm sure that if this game was released much earlier in the Super Nintendo's life, it'd have a better standing (better than Tom & Jerry anyway), but we ALL know how swift and efficient Titus is with their game releases. I think it's moves like these that may have bankrupted the company.

You thought we were actually done? No, we got TWO more things to go over and... it may as well be done now, dang. Time Trial and Versus are very complementary modes, but this does show the slight weakness of the game unfortunately. Time Trial however is a pretty neat mode when you have the... time for it. The question I have to ask is, do speed runners actually use it at all to help them figure out ways to deal with enemy waves effectively? In any case, we may as well cover it and get it off our back from now. At least you get to see the other turtles in action! (But I will release four text commentary playthroughs on Hard for each turtle, just for some extra content!
Oh yeah, and there's Versus too! Problem is that I usually fly solo, so... Raphael is gonna win by default sadly.

The Old Tower... This place is not my friend and it probably won't be yours either. Sure, you can bypass it like any dark alley in New York, but... to take hold of all its glorious treasures, you have to go inside. Then you will quickly learn why this place is one of my least favorite areas in the game. But it is also the pinnacle of the open-ended factor of this sub-game. You can take on the Old Tower however you like and you can even avoid fighting the boss if you decide that you don't want the last two treasures of this place. However, the main struggle with this area is satisfying certain conditions, mainly... having the correct abilities. Welcome and ready yourself, the Old Tower will be claiming Kirby's life for sure!

These next set of levels are surprising. While both of them are by no means easy, these two levels are honestly some of the easiest in the game and both that I would recommend going to right off the bat. The ONLY sour spots are the lame excuses the developers made for blind jumps, possibly in both stages AND the boss of the second act. If you are lacking in the magic department by the time you reach it (which you shouldn't), you're gonna have a bad day... Nevertheless, these levels aren't terribly frustrating or too annoying (save for the spiders), so it's interesting but... of course, it could just be a calm before a brewing storm.

If you thought the stuff that was showcased before was weird, this game certainly will throw quite the curveball at your face. Then again, this is Japan and the game has only thrown UFOs, Instant Stage Beam and flying peaches at you. This is probably one of the things that is THE best about this game though.

Hey everyone, this is a video that I recorded, edited and uploaded in a span of an hour and a half. Trying to get a good grasp on the commentary style that will work well and be consistent. I was watching some of my older videos and I was actually a little surprised how things rolled at times (of course, some of my older videos is plagued with sailor levels of profanity). Nevertheless, I decided to put together this video with little preparation and wanted to show one commentary style I had in mind.
Any constructive feedback or comments that you have about the commentary would be well appreciated at this point. I do want to get things down well and provide some quality content for folks to enjoy, definitely in this rough timespan of 2020.

Back in the days of 1992, Konami was one of the companies you could rely on for quality content. With a wealth of arcade and console classics, there wasn't much going wrong with them. One thing you could truly count on is the way they handled licensed content, especially that of beloved cartoons. While this channel has touched upon the likes of The Adventures of Batman & Robin along with Tiny Toon Adventures, one of the company's greatest successes has always been with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
While the first game has a pretty rough outing, it definitely wasn't hated mainly because of the way things were back then. However, as soon as the game series started to focus on beat' em ups, the series really found its calling. All of these efforts eventually led to the creation of Turtles in Time. Shortly after the success from the arcades, the question popped up in everyone's mind. How in the world are they going to make this for a gaming console?
This SNES game was their answer and to this day, I believe this is one of the best arcade-to-console conversions ever made. The fact that despite the hardware it was working with, this game runs butter smooth. Despite the drop in visual and audio quality, it still looks, plays and sounds all right. And most of all, you don't have to sacrifice quarters to start it up. It's there whenever you want to play.
Join me as I dive right back into the past and re-live this game and all of the joys that brought, presenting a great representation of the pop culture icons that are continuing to come back into the limelight once more!
