?CHEAPEST HAIRCUT IN NEW YORK!
Chinatown, Manhattan, New York City ??
I have walked by this basement barbershop with the $6 haircut sign many times. I had always wanted to try it out, but I was nervous what kind of buzz haircut I would get. Today, I satisfied that curiosity.
I asked female barber Chen to take a little off the sides and the back. She ended up giving me a close fade haircut all around. Lady Barber Chen used a razor, hair dryer, hair brush, hairspray. She gave me the slick-back hairstyle she felt I wanted.
All my friends have been too nervous to try out the cheap Chinatown barbers also, except for one friend. He friend told me that he went to one of these cheap Chinatown barbershop, but it turns out it really wasn't as cheap as the sign said... In the middle of the haircut the barber asked if he wanted him to use scissors to cut the top -- it would be double the price.
This place didn't try that... They didn't have the chance, since I turned down cutting the top of my hair. So, who knows...
I had a great haircut experience. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Chinese female barber, Chen, gave me a no-nonsense men's haircut -- and I can't complain. ? Very recommended.
? Cost: $6 USD (tips were encouraged)
