A quick discussion of how to read the newer style of "remote read" water meters used in North America. I explain a bit of what information is displayed on each part of the face, though I failed to mention that the "odometer" part is the total amount of water that has passed through the meter since it was new. These don't get reset when a customer change has occurred, hence why I call it an odometer.
(DUU) Direct Unedited Upload - I'm thinking that I may start uploading the unedited or barely edited videos that I record as an Odysee exclusive.
I take apart a hard drive a client asked me to destroy. So I figured it'd be fun to take it apart for everyone's enjoyment, because taking a HDD apart without a clean room is a sure fire way to ensure a hard drive will not ever be readable again.
I have a bit of ramble on some details of the different parts inside, things of note that I think of, and the basics of how a Had Disk Drive (HDD - look, you already ;earned something! Lol) functions. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the content, I am well aware of the poor quality of video and audio - it's the best setup available to me right now. I just figured it's better to start rather than wait, that and I wanted to show my client what's inside the drive and that it's destroyed. ;-)
This is my first attempt at recording a repair, I need to fix some things. Maybe, maybe not. Lol
Here I am trying to fix an old LED light the had previously burnt a couple chips. To fix it last time I tested all the LED chips and simply removed the burnt chips and replaced them with little jumper wires. This essentially just bypassed the faulty component. However, this repair only lasted about a day. Now you're caught up to where the video picks up. I used an old digital camera that is obviously not up to the task. I continue my quest to record my efforts so that others may learn.
Removing the extended range bladder tank from a Beechcraft 36. This is the 23rd bladder tank we’ve removed. Next step is installing a new one, at some point! lol
If you have bladder tanks that you need replaced, let us know and we'll get you set up best we can! ???
