Another chapter in New Zealand's aviation history has closed as we said goodbye to the mighty workhorse, the Boeing 767. In the 32 years of Air New Zealand 767 ops in New Zealand, we have seen the -200 and -300 open new markets for our country and completely connect the Pacific Rim. Established as the "Dreamliner of it's time", it pioneered in many new features including being the first aircraft to utilise glass displays in the cockpit.
Air New Zealand operated 11 -200's and 12 -300's with the first -300 arriving in 1991 (ZK-NCE) and the 5th -300 being ZK-NCI. When Boeing announced a 4 year delivery delay for the 787 programme, Air NZ sought to get winglets fitted on their 767's with 5 receiving the treatment between July-September 2009.
The departure of the 767 means that Air New Zealand has retired 3 iconic aircraft, 747, 737, and 767 (respectively) in less than 3 years and an end to an era in New Zealand aviation.

Thank you to everyone for this amazing milestone. I truly didn't expect to get anywhere near 10K subs however, I started realising that reality once I surpassed the 5K mark. I know in the past year I haven't produced as much content as I wanted or that many people expected but I'm grateful you have all stuck by me.
I really appreciate every piece of support, whether you just watch my videos or you decide to like or comment, it keeps my channel going. Thank you!
Sorry for the long wait and not posting videos for a while. I arrived home from an 8 day holiday on the 2nd of January (the day after reaching 10K subs) and I was meant to have my 10K video up within the first week of the year however, after scrapping my first 2 videos because I wasn't pleased with them I got tied up with work and wasn't able to get back into editing for some time.
I did spend a few days however, getting a license for the music.
