In the process, they will show the rest of the spells they can learn naturally. World of Ruin - Overworld: The party resumes outside Maranda. The current lineup is Terra and Celes. The party continues grinding in the Maranda Desert. They now use Banish spells to eliminate Slagworms. Terra reaches Level 79. Celes reaches Level 79. Terra equips Bismarck. Celes equips Zona Seeker. They carried out Quest 287: "Winning! Dream Zoom Stone" for Lynx in Real Gran Zedora and acquired the Zoom Booster, which allows the party to Zoom through ceilings. For Tazzi in Real Alltrades Abbey, they then carried out Quest 269: "Tazzi's Helper" and found the book "Profound Puff-Puff" for the Skill Master. The Skill Master can now cure them for free. Now, the party will begin "The Finale of the Hero and the Witch", the substory quest line in Fake Melsandy Village. Real Gran Zedora (time 0:30): The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Real Gran Zedora. They Zoom to Fake Melsandy Village. Fake Melsandy Village (time 4:07): The party visits the pub at B-3. Heorot changes his vocation to Level 65 Gladiator. Anlucia returns the Angel Slime Hat to him and equips something else. Heorot pulls out the Fun-Size Forge and makes himself a Berserker's Blade +3 (ケイオスブレード＋３). The party rests at the inn afterwards. At D-4/E-4, the party talks to the minstrel, Panino. Panino issues Quest 242: "The Story Begins to Move", the first quest in Melsandy's substory quest line, "The Finale of the Hero and the Witch". The prerequisite is to have completed Quest 230: "Zankrone, the Little Hero", the final quest in Real Melsandy Village's main story. Zankrone has returned and has chased the witch into the waterway under the Sun-Dappled Clearing, but it's a trap. So, the party should go after them. At the item shop, the party stocks up on Treasure Hunt Bells (おたからさがしのすず) since Heorot does not have access to Treasure Eye Land as a non-Thief. Then, they Zoom to the Fake Sun-Dappled Clearing destination in the Fake Melsandy Granaries. Fake Melsandy Granaries (time 12:36): At B-4/C-4, the party enters the Fake Sun-Dappled Clearing. Fake Sun-Dappled Clearing (time 12:56): At E-4/E-5, the party enters the Mysterious Waterway. Mysterious Waterway (time 13:05): The party starts on floor 1F. They make their way up to floor 3F. On 3F, they prepare their lineup. They also use a Metal Perfume and a Double Bubble. Then, they take the southern door at E-8 to the Mysterious Underground Lake. Within, a scene with Gretel the Witch and Zankrone the Hero takes place. He believes he has cornered her, but she has other ideas. She vanishes and leaves an army of Haunted Tomatoes to deal with. With his heart missing, his strength soon flags. Fortunately, the party is in time to help him out. After the scene, it is boss time against the Haunted Tomato Army (おばけトマト軍団). It consists of five Haunted Tomatoes (おばけトマト). Their offensive spells include Kazam. Dazzle Extract damages the entire party and can inflict dazzle. Similarly, Fuddle Extract can inflict fuddle. Air Pollution inflicts dazzle to the entire party and reduces attack power and magic attack by one level. Sweet Breath inflicts sleep to the whole party. Worst of all, when a Haunted Tomato is enraged, it can cast Kamikazee, destroying itself to reduce the whole party to critical health. This is a good battle to put "Snap, Crackle, Poof" on everyone in the party. Aside from the Kamikazee spell, the Haunted Tomatoes are more annoying than dangerous. If possible, get rid of a Haunted Tomato's rage as soon as possible with Lost Break. Be sure to take the vile vegetables down one at a time; multiple enraged Haunted Tomatoes can wreck the party with Kamikazee. At the end of the battle, the Haunted Tomato Army provides a base of ca. 30,000 experience points and 13,200 gold. After the battle, a scene with the disheartened Zankrone takes place. The party lets him know that Airi of Real Melsandy Village is okay. Though his heart has been destroyed, the hopes of the villagers sustain him. Zankrone leaves in pursuit of the witch. The party's next objective is to report to Panino in Fake Melsandy Village. After the scene, the party Zooms to Fake Melsandy Village. The Zoom Booster is already proving useful. Aboard the Unreliable, he talked to Parvati and began the companion quest "Don't Bite The Sun". He also talked to Felix and began the companion quest "Friendship's Due". At Phineas' Lab, he talked to Phineas and completed the main quest "Radio Free Monarch". The next main quest, "The City and the Stars", has begun. Now, Davilas will work on companion quests. Unreliable: Davilas resumes aboard the good ol' Unreliable. Time to pick up perks. Davilas picks up Ellie's perk Magic Bullets. This causes the bullets from Ellie's ability to ricochet to a second, nearby enemy. Davilas picks up Felix's perk Antagonistic Fury. This causes Felix to deal 20% more damage to an enemy whose Negative Reputation with the party is higher than their Positive Reputation. Davilas also picks up Vicar Max's perk Planned Intervention. This causes Max to taunt enemies within 20 meters when Davilas has dropped between 25% health, as long as Max is conscious. Finally, Davilas picks up SAM's perk Bedazzle Automechanicals. With this SAM's ability will stun automechanicals. Davilas chats with his companions in the ship's living area. When he is ready to go, he uses the navigation terminal to fly the ship to the Groundbreaker Docking Bays. During the trip, a scene takes place. A Parcel Runner meets the ship and drops off a special delivery. This starts the "Peril on Gorgon" DLC main quest "The Ones Who Walk Away From Gorgon". The first objective is to open the package, which is in the Unreliable's cargo hold. This becomes available after completing "Radio Free Monarch". Davilas will work on the "Peril on Gorgon" quests later. Davilas fast-travels to the Groundbreaker Promenade. He goes with Parvati and Felix. Groundbreaker (time 8:05): The party goes to the Rest-n-Go and talks to Gladys for Parvati's companion quest "Don't Bite The Sun". They ask about cleansing products. There are three options. The party goes with the Mock-apples and Synthamon scent. The party receives the "Mock-apple & Synthamon" Beauty Basket quest item. This concludes the option to shop for cleansing products for "Don't Bite The Sun". The next objective is to speak to Parvati. So, Davilas talks to Parvati next. After a conversation about her family, he hands over the beauty basket. Now, she wants to get the meal. This concludes the objective to speak to Parvati for "Don't Bite The Sun". They will now continue working on Colony Tau quests. The party resumes in Colony Tau. At the Canteen, they discuss the info "The Nopon are Here", which they learned in video #044. This starts the standard quest "Cultural Exchange". Immediately south of the Canteen, the party approaches Honorine and the Sadadan Bros. for a scene. The party needs to bring the Sadadan Bros. certain Levnis parts so the bros. can make a meat smoker. After the scene, the party talks to the Sadadan Bros. They hand over some Levnis parts, but they are just a little short of completion. I remember there being plenty of Levnises in Keves Castle, so the party skip travels to the Hangar, Lower: West Gate. They head down to the Hangar, Lower Level, to farm for another Levnis part. When they have what they need, they skip travel back to Colony Tau in the Pentelas Region. They talk to the Sadadan Bros. and hand over the Levnis part. This triggers an event. Next, the party must test the smoker. The party examines the Smoker. Various types of meat are acceptable, so the party puts a piece in. Another event takes place. "Cultural Exchange" complete! After the party completes the quest, they turn in Honorine of Colony Tau's Collectopaedia Card. A couple of NPCs have new dialogue. A couple of party members switch classes. At the Canteen, the party discusses the info "Food for Tau", which they learned in video #037. This starts the standard quest "Tau-Tirkin Alliance". The party talks to Rowland for some dialogue. They must collect food to give the Tirking as a peace offering. Alternatively, they can go to the Tirkins to end the alliance, but I suspect that would end in violence. So, the party will collect the food. First, they must collect 50 Green Nectarines. The party talks to Rowland for 10 Green Nectarines and Graziana for 20. The party skip travels to the Cascade Ferronis Hulk. They pay the Fabricator to make some items. It may produce some of the stuff needed for this quest. Afterwards, they skip travel to the Vista of Rhonnar. They scour this part of the forest for collectables. The needed item will have a quest marker. The party skip travels to the Sparkling Pool Camp. They check the area north of the camp and the Yellowgrove to the south for the needed items. The party skip travels to the Vista of Rhonnar. This makes an autosave, so I quit to the title screen and reload the game to reset the collectibles. The party continues the search for items near the Vista of Rhonnar and the Sparkling Pool Camp. When they have enough Green Nectarines, the next objective is 50 Tirkingrass. The party skip travels to Colony Tau. They talk to Rowland for 10 Tirkingrass and Graziana for 20. This completes the Tirkingrass requirement. The next objective is 50 Shiny Roses. The party talks to Rowland for 10 Shiny Roses and Graziana for 20. This completes the Shiny Rose requirement. The next objective is 50 Glare Aubergines. The party talks to Graziana for 20 Glare Aubergines and Rowland for 10. To find more Glare Aubergines, the party skip travels to the Watchtower and takes the rope slide to the western part of the High Maktha Wildwood. They take the rope slide to the northern part of the area, where the Tree Hollow Opening is. Glare Aubergines can appear at many spots on this northern "plateau". To get more, the party skip travels to the Vista of Rhonnar, which makes an autosave. I quit to the title screen and reload the game to reset the collectibles. The party repeats their search in the north. When they have enough Glare Aubergines, the next destination the Tirkinhold. The party returns to Colony Tau first. Then, they skip travel to the Sparkling Pool Camp. They go east and climb a couple of walls to the Tirkinhold. An event takes place when they arrive. Then, they approach the Tirking on the top level for a scene. "Tau-Tirkin Alliance" complete! The party turns in some Collectopaedia Cards. There are a Container and NPCs near the Tirking's throne.
