This hit single for Todd Rundgren was the opening track from his album "Something/ Anything?" released in 1972. It has some beautiful chords and plays well on the ukulele. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSNnG2ZJOhA
I pondered over my choice of chords for this song for several days, trying to get some of the beautiful colors found in the Dinah Washington recording from 1947. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhIl7lb5lXw

A sweet little song that was sung by the character of Eliza Doolittle in the 1956 musical, My Fair Lady. My step-mother saw it on the London stage back in the day. Even though she suffers from dementia, she knew the tune and many of the words when we sang it together at the breakfast table this morning.

The Point! That wonderful modern parable about the Land of Point, where all things are pointed and nothing is pointless, is a fixed star in my cultural heavens. This song was probably the best known song from the album and animated feature by Harry Nilsson, but I never learned to play it until now.
