In this underwater level, you’ll first ascend nests with eels lurking. After the checkpoint, a giant eel will move through the road so swim away as fast as possible. The gym at Nimbasa City is new with some Beauty trainers coming from the stage. After you battle some of them, you’ll next battle the gym leader. Elesa uses Electric type Pokémon. In Challenge Mode, Emolga holds a Sitrus Berry plus Joltik is added. Emolga will use Quick Attack for first strikes and Aerial Ace to strike without missing. Flaaffy will use a combo of Confuse Ray and Thunder Wave. Joltik will use X-Scissor for decent damage and Energy Ball to sometimes lower the target’s Special Defense stat. Zebstrika will use Flame Charge to gain speed and Stomp to make opponents flinch. After the battle, you’ll receive the Bolt Badge and a TM72 (Volt Switch). Fortree City’s gym has rotating doors that adjust when you push them. You’ll battle a few trainers as you go through the maze. Navigate the maze and you’ll battle the gym leader. Winona uses Flying type Pokémon. Swellow is replaced by Swablu and Tropius. Swablu will use Safeguard to prevent status problems for 5 turns then Perish Song to make combatants faint in 3 turns. Tropius will use Sunny Day to make Synthesis restore more HP and SolarBeam require immediate use. Pelipper will sometimes use Protect to avoid opponents’ actions then Supersonic to confuse them. Skarmory will use Steel Wing to sometimes pump up its Defense stat. Altaria will be the hard part as it combos using Dragon Dance and Earthquake. After defeating Saturn at Lake Valor, go to Lake Verity that is northwest from Twinleaf Town and you’ll battle Mars for the 2nd time. Golbat will use Supersonic to confuse targets then Toxic to poison them. Bronzor will use Iron Defense to become harder to bring down then Extrasensory to make targets flinch. Purugly will use Fake Out to strike first and make opponents flinch when entering battle and put opponents to sleep using Hypnosis. Bouffalant will use Head Charge for big damage at the cost of the user’s HP. Druddigon will use Outrage for 2-3 power strikes in a row then will become confused. Vanilluxe will use Light Screen and Acid Armor as a defensive combo. Escavalier will use Aerial Ace for never miss strikes and Giga Impact for big damage with the requirement to recharge the next turn. After a Re-Koil, board the rope and get the “K” letter. Most ropes have Klasps on them and touching one will cost you a character despite acting as a suicide bomber. You also want to stay out of the water because a Nibbla will come in to attack. Climb the rope by 2 Buzz bees and you’ll find the B Barrel. The first bonus area has green bananas on the ropes. Collect 15 green bananas within 25 seconds for a B Coin. Back in the main area, more Klasps are on the ropes. The “O” letter is below one Klasp. Hit the Star Barrel and fall between 2 Klasps to let a one-way barrel launch you to a B Barrel. The 2nd bonus area has Klasps on the ropes. Make it to the other side within 15 seconds for the B Coin. Back in the main area, get the “N” letter after a Kobble. The “G” letter floats over one Klasp. Cross to the next landing and get the iron keg behind the goal. Throw the keg to backstab Koin for the DK Coin and go to the goal.

Call him on a Monday morning and he will be at the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City. Abomasnow will change the weather to a hailstorm with its Snow Warning ability, and the weather effect will last until a different weather effect replaces. Dewgong will use Sheer Cold to take the target down in one hit and Rest to restore its HP with a Lum Berry taking effect for once. Glalie will use Torment to prevent the target from using the same move on consecutive turns and Attract to make the opposite gender less likely to move. Froslass will use Confuse Ray to confuse the target and Ice Shard to strike first. Walrein will use Swagger to confuse the target and Body Slam for a 30% chance of paralyzing. Ecruteak City’s gym has a puzzle with a dark floor and elderly trainers. Navigate the floor and see if you take a clean path. If you step into a trap, you’ll be forced back to the entrance of the gym. Navigate through the dark floor and you’ll take on the gym leader. Morty uses Ghost type Pokémon. Normal type moves have no effect on Ghost types unless any of your Pokémon know Foresight. 3 of the opponents will use Mean Look to prevent switching out. One Haunter can use Mimic to copy off one of your moves you use on it. Gengar will be the hard part as it will combo with Hypnosis and Dream Eater. After winning, you’ll receive the Fog Badge and a TM30 (Shadow Ball). Shadow Ball has a 20% chance of lowering the target’s Special Defense stat.
