Mike O’Fallon joined us to talk about the Rome/Greece/Israel cruise and the fact that our low group rates will end in just a few days (2/1). Then we looked at Joe Biden’s amazing assertion that transgender rights are “basic human rights,” and the worldview that now pervades the leftist movement in the West. Then we took at look at Tim Keller’s tweet asserting that the Son “lost the infinite love of the Father,” and we discussed the theology behind an accurate understanding of the cross. Finished up looking at a bit more Doug Wilson derangement syndrome material from Facebook and Twitter. Mentioned we hope to have some debate announcements and dates for everyone on the next program. We premiered the new video opening by Tim Bushong for Radio Free Geneva! So there is a new addition to the clips including in A Mighty Fortress, and then Jeff Durbin did the new closer about our new bunker under Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. We started with a one minute video from Leighton Flowers including some of the most absurd assertions by Warren McGrew. Then we moved to an almost ten minute presentation against Calvinism by Gregory Boyd from a number of years ago.
Then right at the end, I took the time to address, briefly, the controversy that erupted yesterday over comments by Alistair Begg in an interview four months ago wherein he counseled a grandmother to attend the wedding of a grandchild "marrying" a transgender person.

We would once again like to thank John Samson for filling in for James over the last two weeks. Today John concludes his TULIP presentation with a focus on the Cross.

Took time to make some comments on Jemar Tisby’s new book, The Color of Compromise. Please note I forgot to read through a key paragraph initially, so after the open phones segment I read that paragraph and made some comments thereon (right at the end of the show). Then we finished up the relevant portions of Steven Anderson’s first video, and then opened the phones, covering a wide variety of topics from textual criticism to theology and more. Spent the first hour going over developments over the past few days, including discussions of the Washington Rally with the National Council of Churches, the MLK50 Conference, Martin Luther King’s own professed theology, Thabiti Anyabwile’s imputation of guilt to our grandparents, and finally Kyle J. Howard’s public statement that he would not feel “safe” meeting with me alone “as a black man.” Then we opened the phones with all sorts of calls—none of which were on the topic of the first hour! Finally had the opportunity of doing the program again after a pretty challenging few weeks which included Urgent Care and ER visits, along with a lot of driving, teaching, etc. We talked about tomorrow night's debate with Leighton Flowers, and focused upon my thoughts about the Fisher/Slick debate from last week and what it revealed about the hearts of many. Then we reviewed the sad fact that Ergun Caner, fourteen years down the road, continues to pretend he was something he never was. A truly sad story.

In a Radio Free Geneva today we examined, and refuted, Kerrigan Skelly's vain attempt to break the Golden Chain of Redemption in Romans 8:28-30.

Covered a ton of topics from Doug Stauffer’s claim that I changed the text of The King James Only Controversy because of his refutations (false), to the weaponization of medicine, the onset of vaccine mandates, and the rise of trans-humanism. Played some pretty creepy videos (well, Rich thought they were creepy). Talked about Leighton Flowers a bit, and Rich tells me a fellow in Twitter wrote to tell me that LF is not, actually, Southern Baptist, or, at least, works for a non-SBC entity, and hence could embrace Open Theism without a problem. I know years ago he was associated with Paige Patterson and Southwestern, but, things change. I still think he would be worried about the stigma still associated with the position, but maybe the attraction will get to him eventually. Anyway, lots of worldview analysis today on the program. Wrapped up with a few minutes in response to Sam Shamoun’s recent rant. Visit the store at https://doctrineandlife.co/

Before we fired up the RFG theme today I addressed the open letter that has been sent to Beth Moore about her views of homosexuality. I did so because it seems others (noted on the program) seem to be attempting to run interference for her so as to keep her from having to take a stand on one of the most definitional issues of our day. Then we fired up the RFG and addressed Leighton Flowers’ attempt to obfuscate his own horrific “choice meats” analogy by accusing me of ripping that statement out of its context. I documented, to the nth degree, that I did no such thing, and that the context is exactly what I insisted it was by not only playing his own video, but transcribing the words themselves. We then looked at another clip between Flowers and Roger Olsen that demonstrates the radical nature of Flowers’ commitment to absolute autonomy. Visit the store at https://doctrineandlife.co/

Started off talking about the new “Preacher’s Bible” from Grace To You which I have now dubbed “The Assault Bible.” Light hearted discussion, I assure you. Then we talked about the announcement that the next editions of the NA and UBS Greek texts are due out in 2021/2022, and what that means. Then we discussed the move on the part of many to banish Billy Graham to hell (seriously). Finally, we got back to the Bart Ehrman/Mike Licona debate, focusing upon some of the key issues relating to Ehrman’s style of argumentation. Visit the store at https://doctrineandlife.co/
