The distinctive new R-Dynamic Black Edition is based on the E-PACE R-Dynamic S. It offers customers specially selected design elements that give E-PACE an even more dynamic and sophisticated presence.
The design includes Gloss Black door mirror caps and Gloss Black detailing to the front bumper and lower grille surround, main grille surround and grille tips. The side window surround and side vent – complete with the Jaguar leaper – also feature a Gloss Black finish, along with the Jaguar script and rear badging. Distinctive 19-inch Satin Grey alloy wheels with contrasting red brake calipers, privacy glass and a panoramic roof complete the exterior.
The R-Dynamic Black Edition is available with all E-PACE exterior colours, including new Ostuni White. The distinctive finish has greater depth and substance, and perfectly complements E-PACE’s contemporary exterior design.
Inside, the R-Dynamic Black Edition delivers heightened luxury, enhanced connectivity and greater refinement. The focal point of the new interior design is the curved 11.4-inch HD touchscreen integrated into the central instrument panel.
The large touchscreen operates the intuitive Pivi Pro infotainment system, which provides greater clarity and allows the driver to carry out 90 per cent of common tasks within two taps from the home screen thanks to its simplified menu structure.
The latest addition to the E-PACE family is available with a choice of 2.0-litre Ingenium MHEV powertrains, ranging from the efficient D165 and D200 diesels to the smooth and powerful P200 petrol – all with a nine-speed automatic transmission and All-Wheel Drive as standard.
Advanced All-Wheel Drive (AWD) makes use of second-generation ‘Standard Driveline’ technology that automatically distributes torque between the front and rear wheels to ensure optimum traction. This AWD system utilises Driveline Disconnect technology that intelligently disengages AWD to optimise efficiency – for example when cruising at constant speeds.

Wolfsburg (Germany) - In the summer of 1976, Volkswagen launched a distinctively sporty Golf onto the market: the GTI. At that time no one at Volkswagen had any idea that the Golf GTI would eventually become the world’s most successful compact sports car. But that is exactly what happened – from production of the 5,000 vehicles that were originally planned to well in excess of 2.3 million today. Now Volkswagen is marking the 45th birthday of this iconic car with an anniversary model: the Golf GTI Clubsport 451 – an exclusive edition of the 221 kW/300 PS Golf GTI Clubsport2. Extensive individualisation makes the Clubsport 45 a ready-made collector’s item, even as new. First presales will begin in selected European countries on 1 March. Even the “standard” Golf GTI Clubsport is technically distinct from the standard Golf GTI4/5, with features including a 55 PS increase over the standard GTI's turbocharged engine (TSI) and the Special driving mode for race tracks. Visual highlights of the Clubsport include larger air intakes (delivering more oxygen to the TSI), a specially designed open roof spoiler to allow improved airflow (greater downforce), and a separate sport exhaust system.
The Clubsport 45 is ready to take to the road with more individual customisation than ever before. The exterior boasts a striking black roof complete with black roof spoiler, in homage to the black-framed rear window of the first Golf GTI. With the Race package, which is available as standard and exclusive to the Golf GTI Clubsport 45, equipment includes 19-inch Scottsdale alloy wheels in a high-gloss black finish, with a narrow accent pinstripe detail in Tornado Red. The Race package also includes a sport exhaust system and removal of the Vmax limiter (otherwise top speed is limited to 250 km/h). Lettering on the side sill panel and the “45” added to the lettering on the boot lid underpin the impression of dynamism. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has delivered a one-of-a-kind Transporter conversion to Michelin-starred chef Alan Murchison, to support professional women’s cycling teams on tour. The personalised conversion features comfortable sleeping facilities, covert cycle storage, premium culinary equipment and stunning exterior and interior design.
The one-off Volkswagen Transporter 6.1 conversion built for Alan Murchison accommodates both luxury camping and premium cycling making it a truly unique vehicle. The spectacular conversion was designed, engineered and installed by CJL Leisure Vehicles, an industry-leading converter now certified by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ new Motorhome Qualification Scheme.
Alan, who has worked in and run Michelin-starred restaurants for over 25 years in his culinary career, is currently team chef for the Canyon/SRAM UCI Women’s World Tour team and has also worked with British Cycling. Alan is also a keen adventurer, talented amateur cyclist and multiple European & World Sprint Duathlon Champion for his age group.
To be fit for function on culinary expeditions and endurance training stints, the T6.1 conversion includes storage for up to five bicycles in a sealed wet room with high pressure wash down for kit and equipment, along with a 40-litre top loading fridge and a sink with a fold out gas stove. Also featured in this conversion is a La Marzocco Linea Mini coffee machine and grinder powered by a 3000-Watt inverter and two AGM batteries topped up by via a roof-mounted 350-Watt solar panel. In addition, the van is wrapped in an eye-catching Rapha-inspired livery.
Alan Murchison said: “In order to travel across Europe supporting professional athletes, I need a vehicle that is suitable for long distance travel in comfort, with ample storage space to support elite athlete nutrition combined with the ability to deliver a superb double espresso – this unique Transporter covers all these areas with ease. With this bike, the Malaysian squad achieved 6 wins in 2020, more than any other team in the championship.

The lot list for Silverstone Auctions Race Retro Live Online Auction is looking spectacular, and forming part of the line-up are a number of best-of-breed Porsches with low mileage and others that were low production.
Porsches from across the decades will be crossing the block on Saturday 27th March, including a rare 1989 Porsche 911 (930) Turbo SE G50 ‘Flachbau’ Cabriolet. It is one of only 50 genuine factory-produced 930 SE low-build cars and one of just seven C-16 examples with the 5-speed gearbox. In the stunning colour combination of White Pearl with a matching leather interior, it has covered just 33,168 miles which is corroborated by the 16 service stamps. The upgraded interior features a unique centre console, heated front seats, steering wheel, and gear lever knob with a gold insert; this special car really is the Holy Grail.
Another early Porsche to feature in the tenth Race Retro auction is this recently restored 1963 Porsche 356 B T6 Coupe to ‘S’ Specification, which has covered just 23 miles since its completion. Sensible enhancements were included in the build such as a period-correct 1600cc ‘S’ engine and Porsche parts were employed wherever possible. It is finished in gleaming Schwarz with a matching black interior, has a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and really has been completed to the very highest of standards.
Gary Dunne, Sales Controller for Silverstone Auctions added, “We love the diversity of Porsche examples which we see in every single one of our auctions, they are a much-loved staple of what we offer. What’s more, we will always have the very best examples which are ready for their next owner, as seen with these four here. Not to mention there are several more in the sale, so there really is something to suit various buyers”.
A further two low mileage and low production Porsches to feature in the sale fall into the category of modern classics. First, a 2004 Porsche 911 (996) GT3 RS which is one of just 113 UK-supplied cars and is indicating just 31,836 miles. Powered by the 3.6-litre naturally aspirated flat-six Mezger engine, it is factory finished in Carrera White with classic red detailing and is in superb overall condition supported by a comprehensive history file.
