Adolf Hitler pays a visit to Marshal Carl Gustaf Mannerheim on his 75th Birthday (1942/06/04)
On June 4 1942, Marshal Mannerheim got an unexpected, and uninvited visit from Adolf Hitler on his 75th birthday. Mannerheim wasn't too happy about but he really could not thank no either. Finland was on war with the Soviet Union, again, as were the Germans. Only this time Germans and Finland fought on the same side.

This was not the case during the 105 days of the Winter War of 1939-1940 when Hitler was still Stalin's bff, and in the secret minutes of the Molotov - Ribbentrop Pact he had promised Stalin that Finland belongs to Stalin's sphere of influence. And it's not like the Pact was a secret at this point.

Mannerheim had had disdain for Hitler since the early 1930s. But there were two devils, and at the time, it was Stalin whose ass needed whopping. Hitler's turn would come later...

I'll try to have this clip subtitled in English. I also need to check out the faces I know who were present. Of Germans, at least Wilhelm Keitel was in Hitler's entourage.

There are few angles to this visit, but one of the most famous ones are the Hitler outtakes.

Hitler let Mannerheim know of his arrival on the evening before his arrival, he'd arrive early next day. The secret meeting was improvised to took place in a train, in Mannerheim's saloon car, in Immola, close to Imatra, and close to the Russian border.

Hitler's car was bugged, as well as the remainder of the conversations, after the official, recorded, usual mambo jambo.

So there were microphones, and any microphone is a live microphone, until proven otherwise.

The Hitler outtakes are of special interest given that they are only known existing recordings of Hitler's normal, baseline tone of speech. Not the speeches-to-masses voice. His regular voice. Not even the Germans have those.

In the 2004 movie, "Downfall" (from which all, or the most, Hitler parodies are), the recordings were used by Swiss (aka. WEFland) actor Bruno Ganz, when he rehearsed Hitler's manner of speaking for his role as Hitler.

The official narrative still is that the recordings were made by Thor Damen for the Finnish broadcaster YLE. While YLE's current broadcast only consists of alt-left, ecofascist globalist propaganda, fake news, in 1942 YLE - the nat'l broadcasting company - still sided with the Finns instead of Davos, it is pretty much impossible that Damen didn't work for the Finland's intelligence, which worked also pretty smooth - back then.
