I am happy to show you guys the remote I have been flying for the past 4 months. The TBS Mambo is a new full-sized remote from Team BlackSheep incorporating the TBS Tracer 2.4Ghz link plus a jr bay for other RF Links. I already switched to this remote and I quite like it. Worked without a hitch even though this was a prototype. Speaking of prototypes, the final product will have different types of plastics to mitigate the scratching. Today I have on the table an ImpulseRC Mr.Steele PDB witch had an encounter with the sea. If you did not know it by now by now, salt water can be dangerous to electronics. This is due to the NaCI (Sodium chloride) creating a chemical bond with many surfaces. These bonds happen immediately upon wetting, resulting in a salt residue remaining long after the water is gone. Just one second of salt water exposure can have the same effects as all day saltwater exposure. The corrosion process continues until the salt residue is exhausted or the corroded surface is consumed. This process is extremely amplified if the electronics are energized in the moment of contact and the corrosion happens mostly where the positive of one power supply is(lipo,5v, etc.) So the first thing to do is clean the board of any residues and replace affected parts.
