This is of course a recreation of the official title sequence of Doctor Who as seen in Series 8 and will be appearing in the upcoming Series 9.
As there have been, let's say, quite a "few" recreations online, the original creator of the titles concept, graphics artist Billy Hanshaw, has personally written an analytical commentary on this phenomenon on his blog. Honest to say, I can see and agree with the points Mr Hanshaw has made. As a response, I would like to say that doing online recreations is a fun activity, especially when it is being used to improve on one's VFX skills. It can be tiresome when all these would be artists, myself included, are doing the same thing, but I think there is a some beauty in seeing this unfold, with each individual coming up with their own unique interpretation of a single idea and sharing it with others. Of course I'll be thinking of new ideas for this new hobby of mine, but I think it's safe to say that there is any huge amount of harm in looking for a little inspiration somewhere.

A new and unique title sequence concept of my design, featuring the new 13th Doctor, Jodie Whittaker.
This project took three years to become fully realized. Originally meant for Peter Capaldi's Doctor, I had an outline to make a sequence based on the aesthetics of the four original opening of Doctor Who, which were famously done by the legendary Bernard Lodge. I wanted to go back to an eerie, hypnotic style that has been since abandoned way back in the 1970s. Using modern compositing/editing software and an ambitious attempt at fluid physics, this sequence brings a new sense of scale and wide range of possibilities in visuals for Doctor Who while calling back to a classic approach. I hope you find this as wondrous as I did, because it has been quite the journey for me. Thank you for your support and appreciation.

This is my second contribution to @TheGeekInformant and their channel, this time depicting an alternative era of Paul McGann's take on the role of the Doctor during the late 1990's and early 2000's. Many visual inspirations for this tile sequence come from various sources, including Farscape, Stargate, and Star Trek Deep Space Nine.
All effects and compositing were done through @FXhome's Hitfilm Pro video editing software.

The first in a series of future videos to come, this was a project that needed revisiting. 5 years ago, I attempted to recreate the 2005 Doctor Who titles. However, as time progressed, I slowly grew to somewhat despise that first attempt. Now with a much larger pool of tools and experience, I thought in giving it another go, and just in time for the 15th anniversary of the Revived Series.

Here's something a bit UNBOUND for you. ?
Nearly a year ago, I was approached by @The Geek Informant for a title sequence commission to go with his video project called Doctor Who The Cancelled Chronicles. A comprehensive survey video detailing a "WHAT IF?" scenario on what Doctor Who would look like if it was never cancelled back in 1989 and continued into the 1990s, with Sylvester McCoy eventually bowing out and giving the role of The Doctor for Rowan Atkinson to take over. With this hypothetical "what if" era of Doctor Who, I had to come up with a title sequence for Atkinson's Doctor that just SCREAMED 90s. With cheap 3D chrome text for the logo, stock planet images zooming past the camera, and analogue-looking video effects to go with it. All encompassed in a more outer-space themed style. Think of the Star Trek The Next Generation title sequence but on a BBC budget. ?

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Ghostbusters franchise, I've composed this alternative opening to the 2016 reboot film, to which [in my opinion] had one of the blandest openings to a film you could possibly make. What I did was that I'd removed the cringey jokes, replaced the title with the original Ghostbusters font and brought back the iconic "No Ghost" logo.
Hopefully I've made a stunning contribution to talented Ghostbusters community :)

This video is an entire title sequence for the hypothetical third Dalek movie that would have starred Peter Cushing once again as the time-travelling professor, Dr Who. This movie would have been a theatrical adaptation of the Doctor Who serial The Chase, in which Dr Who and his companions would be pursued by the malicious Daleks throughout time and space, eventually taking them to a planet inhabited by another race of robotic creatures, the Mechanoids.
This project is also based on the Doctor Who fan video "DALEKS VS MECHONS!", made by @Andrew Orton. His work on that video was amazing and will always be remembered. You can see his other Doctor Who related works on his channel, socials, and website:
