Unfortunately two of my images have been stolen and used as proof of Nibiru. I'm going to combat this using watermarks from here on out. I'm not the only one being stolen from right now either; there seems to be a rash of footage theft among various popular "alt-astronomy" channels.

September was a busy month with a great deal of spectacular Hubble image data released. I've once again processed some of the best raw fits files into useful color images. Here are is a zip file of the full resolution processed images:

Nvidia's Super SloMo AI algorithm (https://github.com/avinashpaliwal/Super-SloMo ) was used to interpolate 120 fps slow motion video from 30 fps source video. Footage from AEHF-5, CRS-8, Falcon Heavy Demo Flight, STP-2, and Zuma all filmed using an 8" Meade LX200 Classic and my UFOTraker software with a Canon T5i camera.

There seems to be a common misconception that the Artemis I launch should have appeared to fly directly to the moon. Since I tracked the launch and also captured Orion one orbit after launch and again one day after launch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MDBAv-JvmE ) I can use these observations to calculate the orbit of the Orion capsule just after TLI but before the first mid-course correction burn. I imported the orbital elements from my observations into Orbiter Spaceflight Simulator (http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/ ) and used a Block I SLS mod to simulate the launch while targeting the orbit I measured. This allowed me to determine if SLS and the ICPS could put Orion on that post-TLI trajectory and if it was possible for Orion to perform a close fly-by of the moon from that trajectory.

I collaborated with Tim Dodd the Everyday Astronaut to film the Crew Dragon In-Flight Abort test. I provided the software, OPT Telescopes provided a 10" Meade LX200, and Cosmic Perspective provided steady hands to control this powerful telescope as Falcon 9 launched from pad 39A.
SpaceX deliberately sacrificed the first block 5 Falcon 9 to test the abort system at the moment of maximum aerodynamic pressure about a minute and a half into the launch. The engines on the first stage shut down as Dragon fired its SuperDraco thrusters to escape. Moments later the rocket turned sideways and was destroyed by the aerodynamic forces.
