(Keeping It Promethean) - This means having pristine conscience: A pristine conscience is a realization that resentment is temporary and choosing sobriety over hubris Heroism - Heroism means protecting the innocent A hero resists injustice even when it's difficult. That means your behavior has meaning, such as anger being a virtue when it protects the innocent. Responsibility Responsibility means having a noble approach to your commitments. Nobility is an ideal constituted by acknowledgment of all beneficial and detrimental consequences as a result of your actions, even when they're unanticipated, and without using excuses. ======================================= White Negativity: Guilted Being guilted means you struggle with ignorance and trauma. This means you attempt to flee your own identity, even when it is inescapable, and believing lies about one's history and heritage. Hubris -Hubris is characterized by sanctimoniousness and is often the result of avoiding a disillusionment regarding one's own naivety. For example, it is hubris to believe you can _objectively_ communicate about, or understand, other immutably characterized groups' intentions or experiences. One is inherently tasked with understanding, protecting and inhabiting themselves and their people as the vehicle for their wellbeing and fulfilment. White negativity also means desperation Desperation is characterized by a focus on others One example of White Negativity is blaming other immutably characterized groups for you or your peoples' situation. This can also mean discussing the wellbeing of other groups in order to escape addressing or advocating your own. This can be a result of antiwhitism in media or society that characterize White negative stereotypes as the only avenues of having sympathy for White people.
