The traditional Rdeci Revirji festival turned 20 years old this year and here is a recap of the moments we had the pleasure to witness and take part in. Branko Potočan, artistic and idea director of the festival, says: “The Red Districts Festival is my pride. During my creative career as a dancer and choreographer, I learned a lot and met and collaborated with domestic and foreign artists in various fields of performing arts (dance, theater, circus, clown cabaret, street theater, street interventions, street interventions, fire performances, puppet shows, and more). I felt the need and the mission to offer my place a part of this world. When we plowed the furrow twenty years ago, it was difficult, we established cooperation with local partners and with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture, local communities, and sponsors, year after year built the importance and visibility of the festival. Art and culture connect people, so after 10 years we expanded the festival in the neighboring municipalities of Trbovlje and Zagorje and it became Zasavski.
