Lucy Loves Her Schnauzer Cubes - 08-02-14
In 2009, my sister moved back to Michigan from Wisconsin. So she, my niece, and I moved in to one of my dad's rental properties in Lansing, where I was his property manager, over seeing maintenance, lawn care, etc of that house, and the house next to us.
My sister and niece moved out a couple years later, so I lived by myself until my aunt needed a place, so she came to live with me for a year before moving to Tennessee. My aunt had an adorable mini-Schnauzer named Lucy, and Lucy loved to chew on ice cubes. We even got an ice cube tray that made little Schnauzer shaped ice cubes. So I trained her to sit on a little carpet square in front of the fridge, and well... this is how it went every time she wanted a frozen treat! It was all part of our little ritual. This video is from 6 years ago, before my aunt moved out.
Today, December 3, 2020, I found out Lucy passed away, living a full life full of love, cuddles, and Schnauzer cubes.
