We love nature and we love Twitch, so with Stream Weather we bring to streamers the ambiance of the outdoors to the mostly indoor atmosphere of Twitch and put the viewers in control using their channel points to change the weather in their favorite streams. It is a fun and seamless stream overlay with soothing sounds that only requires a simple one-time browser source link created through our website to set up. Now, even those rainy days at home watching Twitch can be full of sunshine, rainbows, and peaceful stream snowflakes can help you through hot summer days through the magic of channel points.
With Stream Weather, viewers can use their channel points to redeem from a variety of weather animations and sounds on the stream. Any streamer can use the PixelPlush link generator and log in using their Twitch account to get an overlay URL with the selected options and then add it to their broadcast software as a browser source. The redemptions are automatically created in the channel for the broadcaster when the overlay is shown and the broadcaster or channel moderators can use the chat command !deleteweather to clear all of the created redemptions or !resetweather to delete and re-create the redemptions in case of errors. After the redemptions have been created, the broadcaster is also able to use the Manage Rewards menu in Twitch at any time to change the cost and cooldown of the redemptions or to customize them with icons. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj27z1PwsHU
Did you know you can run your own web server in just a single line of code?
And add APIs, CORS, and support HTTPS with SSL certificates just as easily too. WebWebWeb is a SUPER simple and light-weight, zero-dependency module that I built to use for just about all of my open-source web projects because setting up ExpressJS was still more complex than I'd like and wanted to make my GitHub projects as beginner-friendly and clean to learn from.
In this video, I show how fast and easily you can use WebWebWeb to start a web server through JavaScript. You can use it to build and host websites and APIs, or what I like to do is use it to iterate on static webpages locally until it's ready to publish on GitHub pages.
Check out WebWebWeb on GitHub: https://github.com/instafluff/WebWebWeb
As well as WebWebWebs which automatically gets and renew SSL certificates on top through Let's Encrypt: https://github.com/instafluff/WebWebWebs
How to use:
Just install with `npm install webwebweb` and then run this line of code `require( "webwebweb" ).Run( 8099 )` and place your files into /web or /public and it will be served automagically like http://locahost:8099/web or http://localhost:8099/public

New Twitch Channel Points and custom rewards are cool and in this video, I show how you can use ComfyJS to let viewers activate code and do interesting things easily through JavaScript. After Microsoft Build 2020, I had a really cool chance to chat with the team behind the MS Build Student Zone and Microsoft Learn and answer some of their questions on what keeps me motivated about software and computer science, why I've come to absolutely love Azure, and the advice I would give to others starting their learning journey, and then they turned it into this amazing video!
If you'd like to learn more about AI and Cloud, I seriously recommend checking out some of the incredible resources provided for free on the Microsoft Learn website at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/

Fun and popular games are built on some core fundamentals! This is a talk I presented at #LCC2020 provides some concepts to help think about, analyze, and approach game design and take a methodical approach to design and iterate gameplay as a parallel to the scientific method.

Pixel Confetti (in Beta): https://www.pixelplush.dev/beta.html?type=confetti
This is a project we created in PixelPlush for the 2021 Twitch Channel Points Hackathon! https://devpost.com/software/pixel-confetti
Every stream is a party when you've got confetti, and now you can with Pixel Confetti! We gave viewers the ability to celebrate the best stream moments and make them more memorable with this fun and seamless stream overlay that unleashes confetti through channel points.
With Pixel Confetti, viewers can use their channel points to redeem a confetti animation on the stream. Any streamer can use the PixelPlush link generator and log in using their Twitch account to get an overlay URL with the selected options and then add it to their broadcast software as a browser source. The channel points redemption is automatically created in the channel for the broadcaster when the overlay is shown and the broadcaster or channel moderators can use the chat command !deleteconfetti to clear the created redemption or !resetconfetti to delete and re-create the redemption in case of errors. After the redemption has been created, the broadcaster is also able to use the Manage Rewards menu in Twitch at any time to change the cost and cooldown of the redemption or to customize it with an icon.
