Dr. Ana Rodriquez of New York University, presented a talk titled "Malaria-Induced Inflammation and Trypanosomatid Drug Development" at the 2013 CEND Symposium at UC Berkeley. Her talk focused on the effect of uric acid release on severe malaria, and high throughput screening and drug development for the parasite that causes Chagas disease.
