Join the Team & I on project number 18 in Prior Lake, MN where we are building our Large Deluxe Waterfall! I always believe there are rewards for conquering goals with a positive attitude! Last week’s episode, project #17 was awesome! Friendly clients and a cool canvas to create with, but the access was C+ because of the tight squeeze. We are getting to play with another cool canvas, but this time it is new construction! I love when our clients contact us in the Spring and say “We would like the next available spot in your priority line please?”! That is what happened with this LARGE Disappearing Waterfall! They got in line as #18 in the early spring without even knowing exactly what they wanted. This have them plenty of time to decide on their water feature. This is their forever home to retire in and they had always wanted to be able to hear the sound of running water from their home. We knew that we were going to do one of our deluxe packages because of the two pumps adding a richer deeper more natural sound. We were first planning to install the medium deluxe but when we started building we realized we had space for our large deluxe pondless waterfall! Episode #41 Project #18 is our Large Deluxe Pondless Waterfall Package is 25 ft. in length, up to 10 feet in width and includes TWO 4,000 to 8,000 GPH adjustable pumps. I am really excited to say that this year the pumps will be controlled via Wi-Fi and an App on your phone! I love getting to create all of our features, each one is like a baby of mine… not really but kind of. They are important to me, the future of them is important to me, the client’s happiness is important to me. That being said I get really excited whenever I get to make things wider and up the water flow volume. I feel like this gives us the most natural looking waterfalls. I cannot wait to see what this whole landscape looks like in the summer of 2021! That will be the 3rd season the plants will have been planted and that is when our features start feeling more and more natural! This is an episode that means the world to me... This is project number 9 in 2019, it's also the same project Erica The Pond Queen (my wife), was diagnosed with Stage 1B breast cancer. She's incredibly strong and if you're just starting to follow us, Erica is why our business survived the first few years. I especially love Dick & Nettie! They will always have a warm spot in my heart as they were just wonderfully supportive and kind when I had to break away to be with my wife. She found out she had breast cancer during this Dick & Nettie's project. I love the story of how they found us and how it all started: It was an early Minnesota spring and they found us just by doing a Google search. They decided to drive from Burnsville to Eagan and knock on Justin's door... He answers the door holding his baby girl Kaylee and they ask him "Are you The Pond King?!" Justin says "I'm not thee Pond King, but I do believe you're at the right place!" From there they started talking about their existing pond which they had built around 20 years ago and was even in the paper! Of course they saved the newspaper article which featured their fish pond! That same afternoon Justin went to assess they're original pond. He looked for things he liked about it first, then he went into all the things that could be improved... the improvements list was long! Over the years concrete had been poured over holes in the liner, it didn't have the 5 part recipe and it was 20 years old. The techniques & technology were not where they are today. After talking about their pond, discovering their lack of interest in fish keeping and their travel schedule, they decided together that our disappearing waterfalls were more in line with their current goals. Justin then visualized the space and which of our packages would fit the space best... Boom! Thank you for joining us for episode 194 where Nick is helping TSB Lakefront Restoration & Diving build this HUGE Aquascape ecosystem pond in Alma, Wisconsin. This pond is approximately 85' x 35' x 8' deep. Includes jump off rocks, rock stair cases, floating sitting rocks & a sandy beach! It includes an intake bay with 5 pump vaults and a large wetland filter which is 20' x 40' x 3' deep which hold 250 aquablocks! We used around 600,000 pounds of stone on this giant project. We have two Aquascape 18,000 gallon per hour external pumps which power the wetland filter, waterfalls and jet system. It also has color changing lights and an outdoor speaker system. Our Medium Sized Packages are our most Popular packages! We start off this highlight video with our medium Pondless waterfall package and then we move up from there. What I really love about this highlight video is how well it shows off the uniqueness each project we create really is! We installed 4 Medium Pondless Waterfalls and 4 Deluxe Medium Pondless Waterfalls in 2019. I really love how this video shows that though the packages are similar, each creation is totally customized to the client’s vision! Our medium packages are perfect for an area of about 300 square feet. We will change that area into your new gathering place with a 15-foot-long waterfall or a Small Koi Pond with a stream!
