This is Part 1 of a 4 part video series on how to fix the Front Diff Sensor on the 1999 4Runners (seems to be the same issue and same fix on all the later 3rd gen 4Runners through 2002). I did the video after reading the thread on yotatech where this is a common issue and easy fix. You can get a new sensor and change it out yourself or just try some contact cleaner spray and manually clean and plunge the sensor and put back in like I did. Plus I wanted to show the 4WD system and how the dash sensor lights up as I hadn't seen that yet on any youtube videos. Hope this helps. BTW I know the Limited isn't the only model that has the shift on the fly 4WD button but I meant to show it with the difference of having an auto transmission vs. the manual so sorry I said that.
