This scratchboard of this adorable large eyed procyonid (known as ringtail cat or "miner's cat") took me approximately 2½ hours on 2 days to do, with a break between days at around 90 minutes in. The warm color scheme was designed to mimic firelight somewhat. Found an obscure but good quality and affordable theremin (at the time of publishing, $175 with shipping included for US, and cheaper for UK and EU customers) made by Lostvolts, a boutique theremin maker in the UK. I would highly recommend this over the only slightly cheaper but physically worse Burns B3. $175 may seem like a lot, but when you actually look at the theremin market, it's a bargain. For reference, Moog's cheapest offering is almost $400, and their flagships range from $600-1600US.
