This is an extract from Polypodium Leucotomos Leaves that has skin protecting and antioxidant abilities when taken orally or applied topically. Polypodium leucotomos is a fern from Central and South America. The underground rhizomes of the plant are used for medicine. This fern has also been shown to potentially help those with inflammatory skin issues.

Main Activities of Fern Leaves:
-Polypodium leucotomos extract acts as a scavenger to mop up free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS), particularly superoxide anions (these high energy molecules cause direct cell damage and have long been associated with all types of cancer)
-It inhibits the depletion of Langerhans cells
-It reduces the number of sunburn cells
-It protects DNA by inhibiting the formation of cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (cancer-causing cells) induced by UVB radiation
-It preserves skin tissue structure by inhibiting the infiltration of mast cells into the skin (mast cells release chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, redness and itching).
YOU STILL MUST USE SUNSCREEN THIS IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR SUNSCREEN, BUT AN ADDITION TO SPF!!!!
This can be purchased at vitamin stores, and you can also purchase just plain old Polypodium Leucotomos. To find, simply go to the vitamin store of your choice and search Polypodium Leucotomos.

If pure CBD content and effectiveness is a main concern, I'd recommend you checkout the Lord Jones lotion because the smaller bottle contains the same amount of CBD that the Cannuka does. This means each pump of the Lord Jones Lotion contains twice as much of CBD. Both of these products have seemed to help with aches such as soreness on my hands and neck. To be honest, I couldn't tell any noticeable difference with the difference of CBD content. I still wonder if all of this is some sort of placebo effect. I look forward to some scientific studies to come out on CBD, it would be so nice to see what issues this miracle ingredient can treat well.

Many of you have asked for a comparison of the new Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream and the new Sunday Riley A+ High Dose Retinoid Serum. This was one of the more difficult comparisons because I really like both retinol products. Both the Drunk Elephant and Sunday Riley each have their own pros and cons.
