Hey everybody, hope you are all doing well. This is a simple video showing you how to use the FX rack within Omnisphere. I've done a similar video in the past, but this one goes a little deeper and shows some tricks that I have come across when making pathes for my upcoming patch library.
There are a few hidden features within the FX rack inside Omnisphere. The most useful being the hidden presets for each individual module. These will help you get to where you want to be in your patch designing quicker than tweaking every dial and knob yourself.

Two years ago I uploaded Part One of a video about live mode in a standalone environment. For some stupid reason best known only to the ethos, I forgot to continue this series. I intended to show how you can actually record the output of Live mode as you jam along.
Well, fear not fellow musicians, I have started recording the remainder of this little series. In this video I show you how to record the output of Live mode as MIDI. You can then edit the keyswitch notes out and bounce it to audio.
I will be doing a part three to this series, and no it won't take me three years to record it ??. The next video will look at recording the output straight to audio.

Hey everyone, taking a little break from sound design in this video. I stumbled across a useful tool the other day called The Cosm Bot. It takes all the knowledge that Tom Cosm has built up over the years, applied a little AI and then provides this through a nice interface.
If you get stuck with your latest project or mix, you can load this bot up and ask your question. In this video I just ask a few simple questions and you also get some videos demonstrating the answer. When you click on the video, it take you directly to the point in the video - no need to scrub through to find it.
Hope you enjoyed this little find.

Yes, there's more to be done with Live Mode in Omnisphere, and we are up to Part Four in this mini-series. We are going to do something a little crazy in this video. How do you record multiple instances of Omnisphere directly to audio in Cubase? In this video we explore how it is possible, which opens a number of avenues to explore live sound recording environments.
Apologies for the odd rumble in the video, my mic picked up the movement of my trackball.

I've been putting together a new patch library that will be out shortly. During these design sessions I made use of Sky Verb from the Nylon Sky Sonic Extension. If you've never heard of Sonic Extensions then check out this video - https://youtu.be/XpXUfEc0sfA
Today, we are looking at how to effect the trails of the Sky Verb effect so that they pan between the speakers automatically. We then go one step further and add delay to various stages of the AUX channel for different effects. The video then concludes with a simple Mono Lead patch design and demonstrates what Sky Verb can do that basic sound.

MIDIssonance - https://midissonance.com/soundsets/omnisphere-kinejo/
Microgravity is a track using just the patches from the library Omnisphere Kinejo. The only addition not part of this library are the drums. Based on a repeating sequenced riff, this track builds to a climax by adding more elements from this epic patch library.
If you haven't already purchased this patch library for Omnisphere, get on over to MIDIssonance and press that buy button.
