EV20Q Nissan Leaf road trip.
Headed out to Roses and Cadaques and had bad luck with rapid charging in Roses to start with but found a T2 fast charger later. The all ended up great in Figueres with a super rapid charger giving us 46kW. Best I've seen yet from a rapid charger. We go a great Leaf rapid charge.
Working well-driving EV in Catalonia. I was using the Nissan Leaf 2018 Propilot assist. Best technology I have had in a car. Apple Car play is useful too.

Good and Geeky using Picsew to make the fastest scroll shot in the world.. Sometimes you need to take two pictures and put them together to create one long picture or one wider picture. In this instance we are looking at a screenshot where we have something like either a long webpage or a long scrolling space within an application. Here I show you how you can take something from WhatsApp and fitted together to make one image. We are using the application Picsew first from the share menu in the Photos app. Then I show you how we can do it manually from within the Picsew application. This gives you a chance to remove unwanted portions of the images from the middle, top and bottom. It even allows you to take a section out in between by adding another joining point. The application does the scroll shots going from top to bottom, but if you do manually you can join images horizontally.
The application also gives you tools to markup the images. You can add a watermark, either text or an image. Or you can add text to place wherever you want within the image. If you really want to you can take your Apple pencil if you working on the iPad and draw on the images as you see fit. The application also has tools to redact anything which needs to be hidden. There are three ways to blur out whatever shouldn’t be on view.

I did think that Mavericks Tags were going to be an enhancement of the Open Meta Tags that I had already been tagging files with using Default Folder and Tagit apps. Now we have these new Mavericks Tags and they are something new all together. Could be that it is just making things more difficult or muddying the water regards finding files on your Mac. I like to think of it as one more way of sorting and finding files and it can all fit together and be very useful.
So we have Houdahspot which is an app I have used to show the fact that open Meta Tags and Mavericks tags are not the same but it is a great wee app for finding things on you Mac. Then there are Keywords which you can search for in HoudahSpot also. I put keywords onto photos in Aperture and all of these together can be very helpful when you know how to use them to search for what you need to do you computer stuff.

Here’s a tutorial on how to export drafts out of the Drafts application into a folder on your Mac. You can also set this up so it will export out to iCloud Drive for to a file on your iPad or iPhone. Whatever your preference.
The basics for this shortcut came from Greg Pearce who is the developer of Drafts and I wanted to see if I could recreate the draft for myself in shortcuts. It is mostly the same but a couple of things didn’t work out a little bit different. A couple of things had me scratching my head and I had to work out how to get the job done.
The drafts are exported out of the application into the folder as .MD markdown files. In the shortcuts created by Greg it was necessary to specify this file suffix. When I did this in my shortcut it wasn’t necessary. It could just be that I was working with markdown files in the first place and that’s how they came out the other side.
What you could do with this if you want to issue could give yourself a menu to choose from whichever Workplace in Drafts you want to export out of. You could even have another menu which would pop up and ask you which folder you want the text files sent to. That’s the beauty of shortcuts, that you can customise your shortcut to have it work just the way you want it to.
This is still an early version of shortcuts on the Mac and there are one or two small bugs to get around. I managed to get around the problem of the zero not staying in the action where I wanted to initially. The patient with it because there will be many upgrades to come and it will get better and better.

Thanks for your quick reply. However, I am now trying to convert into a shape but it is gray. Not available. Can I convert a graphic symbol in order to adjust the symbol itself? Thanks
Here is my video response to the question.

DragonDictate was great and then they stopped developing it after version 6. It still works on my Intel iMac in Ventura. Soon I will be moving to a Mac with Apple Silicon and I'm pretty sure that will be the end of Dragon for me.
Enter Voice Control - This is included for free in Mac OSX and I am getting more impressed with it. Certainly is unbeatable value for money. Accuracy is excellent. Nearly to the same level as Dragon and for the price it is more than good enough.
I've spent a few weeks with it, to get accustomed to the different commands and its quirks and foibles. When you get used to the way it works and see the AI improving it the more you use it, you might just be impressed.
In this video I show you some basics and how I use it. I have a tip for getting words or sets of words in a sentence to be capitalised. This is the first in a series of Voice Control tutorials.

In a previous video tutorial I showed you the application called LightPaper which I thought was pretty impressive for text entry on the Android operating system. That application does have some extra keys which allow you to move around in the text very easily which is incredibly useful. Today I have an application called Draft which in some ways is preferable, partly because it has a slightly better interface and partly because of better extra markdown buttons.
I ran into the same problem with this application in that in the landscape those extra buttons disappear and you can't use them. That is not too much of a problem as quite often working in portrait mode is good enough anyway. It is very easy to select text and add the markdown syntax, so the star characters are put on either side of the word to make is it that into bold or into italics.
The application works very well if you want to share out to twitter, ADN or Google plus, but for some reason when you want to share to Facebook you need to make sure that you do a copy of the text before you go. The application fails to take the text along to the Facebook application and I'm not sure if this is a problem with the Facebook API or if it is a problem with this application Draft for Android.
When I have been using iOS there is application called Drafts and to be honest I prefer that one. I guess more options within the application for where I want to share it to as well as some automation possibilities. It is rather nice that I also get notifications of where I have shared it out to already. I get the impression that the developer of this application for Android, Draft is copying the basics of the iOS application. With that in mind, I hope that he does a good job and brings in more of the good points that are like in the iOS application.

It is a very useful tool in Final Cut Pro 10 to be able to use the F key and make a part of a clip a favourite. You can have more than one favourite within a clip in your selections there but you can't have them overlap. But don't worry there is a way around this and the way to do that is to set up some pics. In this video I show you how to select areas within your clip even if they are overlapping so that you can select them again really easily and accurately.
You have two make use of the keyword editor to set up your pics and you can easily set up a hot key so that you can do it just by using a shortcut. I have setup Ctrl 4 and Ctrl 5 as my hotkeys for a pick one and a pic two. I could set up more if I thought I would need them but for the moment just having two picks is sufficient.
