How do bitcoin ATMs work? How easy is it to spend bitcoin? Some will allow you to transfer both ones, but ATMs in most countries are often one-way "vending machines." Circulating bitcoin helps grow the economy. I get paid in bitcoin and I pay others in bitcoin. There are many things you can buy with bitcoin, including flights, hotels, and products on Amazon. Bitcoin is first and foremost the currency of the internet.
This talk took place at the Internet Days ("Internetdagarna") conference during November 20-21st 2017 at the Waterfront Congress Centre in Stockholm, Sweden: https://antonopoulos.com/event/the-in...

Bitcoin Q&A: How do I choose a wallet?
How do I choose a cryptocurrency wallet? Every wallet has different features, transaction customization, fee estimation, levels of security and privacy, and affiliations. The criteria for wallets is different depending on the person, their needs, and risk model. Wallets that used to be good may no longer be good or share the same principles.
You don't have to use one wallet forever. Use many different wallets for different purposes and feel free to change them often. One of the criteria I use for wallets is that if it doesn't support SegWit, I don't use it, because I want the fee discounts.
NOTE: This talk was recorded prior to the cancellation of 2X. A couple mobile wallets like EdgeSecure beta (formerly Airbitz), GreenAddress, and Samourai now support SegWit.
This is part of a talk which took place at the Bitcoin Open Blockchain (BOB) community event on October 29th 2017 at the mHUB innovation center in Chicago, Illinois:

Are bitcoin payments irreversible? Many have criticized this as a "problem" for consumers. Some have gone as far as to design blockchains that are editable and give authority to a group to reverse transactions. In this talk, Andreas dissects the concept of irreversible agreements, hard promises and soft promises and the ties they have to systems of authority and autonomy.
