Final Fantasy III (3D Remake) {Part 6} - Nepto Temple restored + Enterprise obtained
Made the boss fight a little more interesting than it needed to be, but all's well that ends well. Now we have a boat and more of the world to explore!
This system is WAY easier than Circe. Had it not been for dumb luck, I would have beat this mission on the first try. Maybe had I brought a better wingman...
Two of the guides I'm following have conflicting chapter numbers, but I'll stick with the one that combines the Worker Induction Center and Finkton Proper for now. There was basically nothing at the WIC as far as I could tell. Wait a minute... Is that abbreviation on purpose?
Kain's new form is finally revealed here after a short trek through the north underground waterway and some more cutscenes. Like all of the tales, this one ends on a cliffhanger as well because of course it does.
First time flying a Sabre. It's actually a pretty good ship. Unfortunately, I lose another wingman due to a scripted event which suggests sabotage. The cats paid for their treachery in blood though. I made sure of that!
All of this stuff that my death knight talked up about being so nasty is starting to be a bit on the disappointing side... Anyway, not much left to the drill grounds after this area.
This one is more of a challenge due to flying through a nebula and also having to take on four capital ships at the final navpoint. Even still, there's a lot of cats pushing up litter boxes now.
The Darkening took the hardest aspect of the game (fighting in darkness) and decided to raise it to another level. By comparison, the final boss fight wasn't bad at all. Only took me a few tries to get the Queen.
While exploring the western side of the valley, I ran into the fortune teller, Sosostra. Upon doing that, I completed all of her premonition tasks to get the achievement She Never Saw It Coming.
