VgmComp2 - Sega Genesis to SN Example
Follow-on to the last, this shows conversion finally producing decent results (er, except for Scrap Brain Zone, which I fixed after the video was done). In this video I'm still doing the YM and SN separately, in the version released they are done together which fixes the desynch issues. Also, a little more volume balancing was done.
The task of getting 10 channels to play on the SN is left as an exercise to the user. ;)
I could use someone who understands the MD YM a little better to bounce some questions about exactly how the envelopes add together, but this workarond is working well enough for now.

All right, it's a bit shorter because I didn't realize how close to the end I was (of chapter 1, anyway, which is all that's out). Oleander still owned me, but the story continued on after I got far enough. There are only a few lines of different dialog when you do win (but it's worth finding a video to see how you have to perform to do it!)
Still, I had fun, and I'll probably pick up some more when more comes out.
And where else you are going to find hard-hitting cow-on-unicorn action? Don't answer that. This is the internet. I KNOW.
