Arc Rise Fantasia Boss 11 - Why Am I Not Surprised..? Vs. Kanher!

Man, it's been a while but we got another boss fight and it's... actually pretty straight-forward. After running into a guy like THE EMPEROR, poor Kanher doesn't really measure up. But don't let that fool you at all; this abomination can still hit pretty hard... with his abilities.
To go into more detail, Kanher's physical attacks pale in comparison to the truck-scaled beatdown that Weiss was able to dish out, but the two attacks you SHOULD care about are Abyss Blast, which does a LOT of damage and seems to shoot out in a straight line from whomever it is facing. Chaos Pillar is the other problem starter, doing some damage but lowering ALL your elemental Resistances, which can set you up for some serious pain later on. This attack also hits everyone in an AOE ring. It might pelt you with Lightning as well; it just hurts a fair bit OR more if you're suffering from stat debuffs.
Now, the good news is that you have FOUR party members for this fight! What does this mean? Well, considering that you just need THREE people for a Trinity Act, and that Serge is doing his own thing most times. You can capitalize on his actions by having two characters use an Excel Act while Serge is using one of his own and it'll make for an easy Trinity Act to pelt this boss with. So the main strategy is just tossing out some Trinity Acts whenever possible, keep your HP up and defend when the boss uses its Excel Acts, and you'll see victory in no time.
This is admittedly one of the easier bosses in the game. Too bad Niko will never know that...

This is a re-do of an LP that wasn't finished and in my opinion, poorly done. Here's the re-do and planning to do it in HARD mode and only HARD mode. For those are probably wondering why I'm re-do old and unfinished LPs. It's effectively a statement stating that I am going to try to make sure I give it my best and not be a slouch about my work any longer. This is a good place to start. This LP was almost finished, but I lost motivation near the end of the Hard Mode LP and there was a lot of frustration while doing this game. I feel it's only fitting to come back and beat the game legitimately without any savestates and letting this game REALLY have it.

The Factory Stage is an interesting jump up in difficulty from the fourth area. While the stages themselves are not menancing in layout, the enemies are definitely a pain! They hide, they cheat, and they will steal your life if you're not careful! However, despite the evils that you'll experience here, if you're careful and clever, you will reap an extreme amount of riches in power-ups. You WILL be needing them, trust me!

Well, the ride's over with. Angie is safe, Leslie is happy and Shelly isn't going to kill us. I'd say that is a big time victory! However, one big question remains… What the heck is going on with Niko? However, things are kind of making sense, Leslie feels like she wants to join our party again and she ALSO uses a gun. HMMMMMM!

My god, this town is just too damn big, but I can't just... skip everything now, can I? Here we explore more of Diamant's massive infrastructure and soon get to meet one of the best characters in the game. If you were thinking this Mega Man clone would skip on the boss gauntlet, think again! This game is certainly not going to pass up on one of the traditional things ever to occur in the Mega Man series. However, the are certainly some differences in the locations where you fight all of these ladies, it's mainly the room that they're fighting them in. However, another thing is that these aren't the actual ladies apparently. It looks like Iris couldn't convince the RKS to rejoin her insane cause so she had to stick with dummy versions of Tia's friends. She's definitely going to pay now!

The plot thickens and yes, THOSE two are back. But more importantly, it seems that the Aion Unit is ALSO in town. This is quite the troubling bit of news if you remember who LEADS said Aion Unit. This is certainly a "God Help Us All" moment! There's also the matter of L'Arc and Ryfia having their troubles at the moment, but considering how those two have been, there might not be too much drama hopefully! But it seems that hope has been placed by getting some answers and a pardon from Hosea, after all, he has an influence over the Aion Unit! But considering how things are looking lately, who's to say that he's gonna do us any favors?
Well, one way to find out! Let's have a talk! But will it do any good..?
