We spend about $1,500 US and buy food and Medication in Manila or Cebu, it is cheaper than bringing it in and helps more of the local Filipino people. We buy many boxes of food, which are then bagged individually with each bag having canned meat, rice and ready to eat foods plus a bottle of water or juice. I am suffering with a lot of pain throughout my body and am fighting the gout, arthritis and peripheral neuropathy, a result of damage to the nerves outside of the brain and spinal cord (peripheral nerves), often causes weakness, numbness and pain, usually in your hands and feet. It can also affect other areas of your body. I bite the bullet daily and strive to deal with it, my biggest joy is seeing the love my wife Emily has for me, she is my high school sweetheart.
