The Chaos From The FTX Collapse Continues
Today, BlockFi halted withdrawals. BlockFi said "We are not able to operate business as usual."
On June 30th, FTX.US extended a $400 million line of credit to the company and signed an agreement to buy BlockFi for $240 million. BlockFi was a large lender to Three Arrows Capital. Now, BlockFi appears to be underwater again, due to customer’s withdrawing funds.
I initiated my last and final withdrawal from BlockFi on Wednesday, and my withdrawal was completed late Thursday evening.
Will BlockFi be the next crypto corporation to fall?

He claimed that the token is "backed by USDC." However, he says that this is just an social experiment, and that MM has no maximum value. I would add it has no minimum value either. He has $2.6 million in his wallet that he has made off of this scam.

Who will regulate them? The SEC is teaming up with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (or the CFTC) to jointly address regulations.
First, $100 b per day is being traded in crypto assets. Second, while there is lots of innovation in crypto, there is plenty of hype. Many projects are likely to fail. Third, he said that $14 b was stolen last year in crypto assets, and he wants to protect investors from theft.
