Previously, in Palom's Tale, Palom reached Level 40, and Leonora reached Level 39. Now, they will keep grinding for levels and gil. They still need to earn the funds for the fun at the King's Bounty Pub. Overworld: Palom and Leonora resume outside Troia. They enter Troia Castle. Troia Castle (time 0:19): The party enters the last screen of the Troia Castle - Waterway. They grind during a full moon to boost Palom's Black Magic. Leonora reaches Level 40 and learns the White Magic spell Float. Palom reaches Level 41 and learns the Black Magic spell Blizzaga. As their MP runs low, they leave the castle. Overworld (time 19:05): The party goes to the town of Troia. Troia (time 19:10): They rest at the inn and advance time to the next full moon. Then, they leave town again. Overworld (time 20:46): The party enters Troia Castle. Troia Castle (time 20:51): They resume grinding in the Troia Castle - Waterway. Leonora reaches Level 41 and learns the Black Magic spell Fira. As their MP runs low, they leave the castle. Overworld (time 38:57): The party goes to the town of Troia. Troia (time 39:02): They rest at the inn and advance time to the next full moon. Then, they leave town again. Overworld (time 40:40): The party enters Troia Castle. Troia Castle (time 40:45): They resume grinding in the Troia Castle - Waterway. Palom reaches Level 42 and learns the Black Magic spell Firaga. When they are done grinding for now, they leave the castle. Overworld (time 56:29): The party goes to the town of Troia. Troia (time 56:35): After selling some excess items to the shop, they rest at the inn and advance time to the next full moon. Then, they leave town again. Overworld (time 58:34): The party saves. In the Offline edition, the reward was the Sacred Lord's Mural recipe book, which has recipes for the Sacred Lord's weapon set. The party also explored the Badley Rocky Zone for treasure and then concluded with some accessory synthesis in Velinard. Now, they will carry out the quest to unlock the fishing minigame and then begin leveling up fishing. Velinard (time 0:28): The party resumes in the church in Velinard Castle Town. Under his Royal skill, Raguas installs a couple of Silver Skill Up Panels to level up his experience boost node. The party goes outside and Zooms to Port Town Rendoa South. Rendoa South (time 4:07): At D-4/D-5, the party talks to Fishing Master Harmos. He issues Quest 021: "That Guy, the Fishing Master". Harmos gives the party the Sturdy Fishing Rod (じょうぶな釣りざお) and the Silver Lure (ぎんのルアー). The party's next objective is to go to the waterside and catch a fish to show Harmos. Heorot starts at Fishing Level 1. The new Fish Bag (さかなぶくろ) option appears under the Inventory menu. The fish that the party catches will show up here. It has room for 100 fish. As for fishing equipment, it shows up in the Summary Bag (おまとめぶくろ). The party goes to the end of the dock at G-6. They use a Double Bubble to boost fishing experience earned. Pressing the confirm button brings up the fishing menu. The first option is to go ahead and fish. The second option cancels. The third option brings up the fishing equipment menu. The Sturdy Fishing Rod and Silver Lure are equipped by default. Heorot begins fishing. In this game, fishing is a turn-based battle between the player and a fish. Just below the player, a diagram shows line strength on the left and the fish's distance in meters on the right. Line strength is the player's health, while the fish's distance is its health. The objective is to reel in the fish before the line strength runs out. The first option is to reel in normally, which damages the line a little bit. The second option restores some line strength. The third option is to reel in at high strength, but this damages the fishing line more than reeling normally. The second and third options have a limited number of uses per battle. The last option is to give up. On the fish's turn, the fish may take an action such as damaging the line or gaining distance. If the line strength runs out, the fish escapes. The player catches the fish if the distance reaches 0 meters. The player earns experience based on the type of fish caught. After Heorot catches a fish, he jumps to Fishing Level 3. His next objective is to report to Harmos. Heorot reports to Fishing Master Harmos at D-4/D-5. Quest 021 complete! The party can now turn in fish to fish exchange workers, such as the NPC to Harmos's left. They will earn fish tokens that they can exchange for prizes. Also, as Heorot gains Fishing Levels, he can talk to Harmos for better fishing gear. To start with, Heorot's Fishing level limit is 21. He will be able to undergo a Fishing level limit quest when he reaches Fishing Level 18. The party talks to Picho, the Pukuripo wearing a squid cap next to Harmos. The first option is to turn in fish individually. The second option is to turn in all fish at once. The third option is to browse the prize list. The fourth option provides an explanation. The party turns in the fish they have caught so far for fish tokens. Then, they check the prize list. Note the Orbs available for a cool 20,000 tokens apiece! Plenty of other things are available, too. The party returns to the end of the dock at G-6 and catches some more fish. This is a decent place for a few levels to start with. Only a couple types of fish are available. During the fishing, Heorot reaches Fishing Level 4, Level 5, and Level 6. At Fishing Level 6, the party talks to Harmos at D-4/D-5. For Fishing Level 3, they earn the Beautiful Fishing Rod (きれいな釣りざお). For Fishing Level 6, they earn the Platinum Lure (プラチナルアー). Harmos's first option is a list of fishing quests. The second option shows his prize list by Fishing Level. The third option provides explanations. The party also exchanges their fish to Picho. Aboard the Unreliable, they installed the Acid Steeper into SAM and concluded the companion quest "The Cleaning Machine". SAM is now available to help the party clean up Halcyon. Back at the Groundbreaker, they revisited Gladys. After concluding her side quest "The Distress Signal", they bought the Stellar Bay Navkey. They visited Lilya Hagen at the SubLight offices and picked up her faction quest "Space-Crime Continuum". Aboard the Unreliable, the Murder on Eridanos DLC main quest "No Night Without Stars" began, but the party will do this much later. The party contacted Phineas Welles again, concluding the main quest "Passage to Anywhere". The next main quest, "Radio Free Monarch", has begun. The party landed in Stellar Bay on Monarch. They accepted the side quest "The Grimm Tomorrow" from Grimm. As Welles recommended, the party visited Nyoka in the Yacht Club bar, but she needs help recovering from her hangover before she can serve as their guide. She issued the side quest "Passion Pills". The party also met Caleb Herrick, who issued the side quest "Herrick's Handiwork". In the Monarch Stellar Industries office, the party met MSI's leader, Sanjar Nandi, who issued the faction quest "BOLT with His Name". Now, the party will continue exploring Stellar Bay and undertaking quests. Stellar Bay: The party resumes in the Monarch Stellar Industries office in the middle of Stellar Bay. Next, they talk to Sanjar's assistant, Celia Robbins. They first ask her about her exchange with Sanjar. She has been buying some questionable items from a vendor named Sebastian because she is attracted to him. The party offers to approach him on her behalf. This starts the task quest "Flowers for Sebastian". The first objective is to ask Sebastian on a date for Celia. For "The Grimm Tomorrow", the party talks to Celia about Grimm's tossball poster. This concludes the objective to check with Celia. The next objective is to speak with Velma at the warehouse. "Sanjar's To-Do List" is on the desk in the MSI reception room. The warehouse is in the north of town. They work with real, actual fish here, unlike the cannery in Edgewater. In the northwest of the main room, they talk to the boss, Velma Ballard. They started "Three Ravens at War", an umbrella quest involving Ashera's psychotic lieutenants. They did Zoren's quest, "A Warrior's Pride", and Easel's quest, "Rules of the Hunt". Now, they will carry out Clad's quest and then wrap up "Three Ravens at War". The party resumes in Colony 11 in the Syra Hovering Reefs, Keves Castle Region. At the Canteen, they discuss "Clad's Unit". This starts the standard quest "Indomitable". In Colony 11's pit, the party approaches Clad's squad for a scene. They rush into combat against two Equites. After the battle, a scene takes place with Clad and his squad members, Knoquehardt and Rattlejack. Knoquehardt is going to have a serious case of laryngitis if he keeps yelling like that. Then, it is time for a battle against Tenacious Clad, who faces the party without backup. My party has five levels on him, so it's nothing a good Chain Attack and an Interlink can't handle. Another scene takes place after Clad's defeat. "Indomitable" complete! The party has earned Clad's trust. Their Colony 11 affinity reaches Rank 3. They look for new dialogue around the colony. The party can continue "Three Ravens at War" now that they have finished "A Warrior's Pride", "Rules of the Hunt", and "Indomitable". They approach Zoren, Easel, and Clad in the Training Pit for a cutscene. The party must meet them on the First Ixia Bridge. Next, the party skip travels to Colony Gamma in Melnath's Shoulder, Aetia Region. At the Gamma Canteen, they eat the Meat 'n' Veg Leclati. Manana learns the recipe Stringy-Wingy Veggie Leclati. The party skip travels back to Colony 11, Keves Castle Region. They go out west to the First Ixia Bridge. They approach Zoren, Easel, and Clad for a scene. Afterwards, it is boss time against The Three Ravens: Spearhead Zoren, Fellplume Easel, and Tenacious Clad. My party is the same level as they, so the battle is a bit tough. Take them out one at a time. A good Chain Attack and good Interlinks should lead to victory. Another scene takes place after the battle. "Three Ravens at War" complete! The party skip travels into Colony 11. After seeking new dialogue, they save. Then, they approach the West Gate for a scene with Knoquehardt, Strider, and Widow. This starts the standard quest "Merciless Pursuit". The next destination is Engardo Pass in the Pentelas Region. The party skip travels to the Engardo Pass Camp in High Maktha Wildwood, Pentelas Region. At the camp, they level up with bonus EXP. Northwest of the camp, the party approaches the target marker in Engardo Pass for a scene. Afterwards, they examine the Deserters' Footprints. They follow them through Runo Ruins and down the Archaic Tower. As they follow the path south, another event takes place. The party examines the Deserters' Trail. They follow it south and down the vines. Then, they take the path northeast. Before they get too far, a scene takes place. After the scene, it is time to battle the Knoqueabouts, a group of five Keves deserters. The Keves Rescuer will heal the others, so he is a good one to take out first. Another scene takes place after the battle. Knoquehardt has a little paraphrase of Galadriel from "Lord of the Rings". "Merciless Pursuit" complete! The party skip travels back to Colony 11, Keves Castle Region. They run around to find new dialogue. They set Isurd as their Hero so they can talk to Ashera. Sena switches her class to Flash Fencer, and Noah switches to Yumsmith. They spend some Nopon Coins to boost their ranks in their new classes. Next time, the party will continue questing and liberate another colony in the Fornis Region. Thanks for watching!
