Innis & Gunn are back with another special Scotch Ale, this time dry hopped after being aged in Bourbon barrels. Included this time are also some lychee berries. Brainmuffin is not sure if this bottle was old, but no hops where present on the nose nor tongue tip. There was some bitterness present which may have been the hops. He also noticed an earthy tone which could also be the hops. As the beer warmed up, other flavors and aromas became present. The bourbon is definitely noticeable and there are hints of oak.
