Hasegawa 1:72 F-4EJ Kai Phantom II 301SQ Final Year 2020 plamo build 1
Another Phantom build! This is an F-4EJ Kai from the 301st Squadron, featuring an enlarged frog mascot for the squadron. The tooling is similar to the RF-4E I am also currently building, save for the nose of course. This time I annealed the photoetch engine can inserts. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkvlCdq2XJ0
It's the end of the year, yay. I'm still around. This video features a package from Gyruss, stuff I got for Christmas, P-Unit's resin Nadia kit I recently got, a discussion on Christmas historical origins, and an update on the emotional journey I've been going on this past month. If you didn't catch the post I made about this trip down nostalgia and a desire to reconnect to an old friend who has come to mind recently, you can read about it here:

Construction continues. Here I have foregone the aileron construction as the kit is designed and instead have implemented some polycaps from an ARII Macross kit. This way, the ailerons are not only fully poseable, but can be removed as well.

Here is a peek at a rarity: it's an unboxing of the Garmillas (Gamilus) spacecraft box set. It is a compilation of the Mekakore-sized ships that have been included in various Garmillas warship collection sets. Sorry to disappoint you, but this special box set was only available in Japan via the Premium Bandai website, available for preorder only, and they are currently not taking further orders for this set. I pre-ordered this in May, and now in July it was released.

Here is 1/3rd of the Summer Wonder Festival, the companies' showroom. For pictures of the independent exhibits and displays, you can view an image gallery of it here:

Wonder Fest (aka Wonfes) is put on by Kaiyodo twice a year. This was my second time attending this event. It focuses on anime figures, plastic models, and garage kits. This video is of the company exhibit hall where companies like Kaiyodo, Kotobukiya, Plum, Fujimi, Tomytec, Goodsmile, Medicom, and others display their new and upcoming products. The private exhibitors sell their doujin garage kits in the other two halls (see my photo gallery for that). There is also a lot of cosplay. Unlike a typical North American anime convention though, cosplayers in Japan often go as classic anime characters.
